"You mean this?" Monica held it up, showing the boy who seemed to be curious about it. "This is the Blue Atlamillia, left to me by my father. But it looks like you have one too. That’s strange."

Norune was quiet, basked in the moonlight of a peaceful summer's night. You close your eyes -- and when you open them again, the people have disappeared. The buildings, however, remain. They remain until Dran descends upon Norune, his protective demeanor stripped away as he lands and takes a building with him. One by one he crushes the buildings beneath him. Finally, he lands before you with a mighty roar. You freeze up. When you can't move, he charges at you and -- you wake up.

"Dran! Snap out of it, Dran! Oh...j-just a dream. It was just a dream." Toan awoke, startled by his nightmare. He then sighed with relief, and rose out of bed. He'd had this dream before, but he began to wonder if it meant anything. With the Dark Genie gone, Dran shouldn't lose control of himself again. But still, Toan worried.

"How exciting!" She clasped her hands together in delight after hearing the explanation. The festival sounded a bit like the ones that occurred back home which were just as fun. "Maybe I will take some time out to see it. It’s not everyday one gets to attend a festival while traveling. I assume this particular guardian has great importance here?"

"Yeah, he's pretty wise and powerful. We call him, the 'Divine Beast, Dran'." Toan replied. "Anyways, you wanted me to show you around the village, right?"

"No. I’m none of these things." She stated gently. "It is due to my healing touch. We white mages attain this gift when our skills gradually improve. Well— It wasn’t the same for me: I have this healing touch since when I was a child… Perhaps because my mother is a white mage as well or perhaps because the destiny of me being a white mage was signed since the very first day I was born.”

"Wow! Amazing! I thought only genies and other spiritual beings could use magic. That's so neat, miss!" Toan replied in awe. A human spellcaster! This was new to him.

"In a sense," she nodded. "I only managed to find this place by chance.If it is not too much trouble, do you mind showing me around the village. I would love to know a bit about it."

"Sure thing, miss! We're getting ready for our upcoming annual festival to celebrate our guardian, Dran, at the moment anyways. You should stop by again soon for it,  if you like music or dancing. Oh, and the food is pretty good too!" Toan replied, excitedly. He always enjoyed Norune's festivals, ever since he was little. The music, food, and dance were always so enjoyable.
