Why must humans keep relitigating DEHUMANIZATION over and over and over and... I know it's important to watch this but fk I need to stop here, bc I know a favorite character is probably gonna die and I'm already crying about the extras. Mark's character apparently tried to end his life his first year at Yale and I'm worried that's foreshadowing for the love of his life he just found, Felix. And the political bullshit, I just... the casually-watching-people-die that I still have no answer for in terms of how depraved can some people be to do that. The quotes so far are fire. "Our continued existence depends on just how angry you can get." The fight between Mark's character - who is the type of activist asshole we all need in our life poking us with sticks-- versus his vaguely homophopic but somehow still-cares-about-him older brother felt so much like a real family fight/rift.

And it's like helplessly watching a genocide all over again. I can't be a wreck tonight/morning, but I need to finish this...
