Arrow Season 2 Thoughts
Recently I finished watching season 2 of Arrow for the first time, and I have to say, this is easily my favorite season of CW’s superhero universe so far. For context, I had watched the first two seasons of The Flash prior to this, and decided to check out Arrow sometime after I dropped the Flash early into its third season.
This season had a lot of great growth for Oliver, and further developed not only him but the original cast from the first season as well. There was a heavy focus on the themes of truth and secrets, and it effectively displayed the consequences of being so secretive with the ones you love, especially by the end. Perhaps my favorite part of this season though was its main antagonist, "Deathstroke", and the drama he brought to present day Oliver and the show as a whole. Deathstroke's presence tied loose ends from parts of the first season and brought a great finale to the entire plot of this season.
Overall I really enjoyed this season and I hope the third season is able to deliver as well.
