If you’ve been in Knot Just Yarn’s physical store, you will have met one, two, or all four us: Judy B, Dianne J, Joey C and myself (Sheila H). We enjoy working with you to help you find what you are looking for, answer your questions, to help you read a pattern, or just showing us your most recent project. Do you love yarn? Do you enjoy working with people, answering questions, showing them yarn, looking for just that right yarn for a special project? KJY is hiring two sales associates. This is a part-time position, approximately 15 hours a week. I am looking for a high energy, go-getter. I know, I know…those are the “catch phrases”….but I need somebody who can initiate his or her own ideas and propose them. I need somebody that would be willing to teach classes and help our customers. I need somebody that can read patterns (especially crochet). I need somebody that can “learn” yarn, fiber, and people, and not necessarily in that order. Please be familiar with Ravelry, Facebook and Instagram. Being familiar with iOS, WooCommerce, and Square is a big plus, as well. This job entails being able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand on your feet all day if it is required.
