How did you set up your website? I would love to do something like that and create a portfolio for my art.

I used Weebly! It’s managed by Bluehost. I have the free version. :) Best to do it through a computer. Any art files you have that you want to display as your best works, it’s easiest to have them on your computer and upload from there.

When making a website, keep in mind what your audience wants/needs to see, what you want their attention to focus on, and ease of function. Don’t overcrowd it. Less is more. List a few simple things about yourself for us to get to know you, and then use the 60 second rule- assume you have a potential client looking at your website. (Which you do.) Within 60 seconds your potential client should be able to navigate your website, learn the top most basic, but relative information about you, find your prices, and your best works. You either make or break it in this time frame.

A basic golden painting practice. I struggle a lot with Golden Retriever fur, it’s so wild and different, not easy to quickly capture the way single-coated dogs are, or coats like German Shepherds have but I’m starting to get better at it

I was working on a 3rd scene and the file ruptured and I just wanna d i e and I’ll try again when I’m ready (might skip that particular scene tho) but for now on my day off, this was all I could muster together. Time to read a book :’(
