Monthly Fic Round-Up: July 2026
In July we're back to being able to highlight first, second, and third places, and we're also back to fics that are returning to the winners circle--all of the fics highlighted here today have placed before.
The number 1 fic in July by kudos is:
Just What I Wanted, G, 713 words, A fluffy fic where Bunny gives Jack his first Christmas present in 300 years.
What It Means To Ask, G, 1279 words, Jack and Bunny have to resolve a miscommunication about what it means when Bunny asks for Jack to be his mate.
Wonder Full, E, 3819 words, Jack and North have sex, with a focus on how big North is compared to Jack.

This story is one that exists because of Pitch/Sandy but has become something original. I think people who like my writing would like it, but itâs been slow to find itâs audience. But it found someone this month!
In an alternate world, Sandy Zie works as a tester of pleasure constructs, artificially created humanoids whose sole purpose is to provide sexual pleasure for their wealthy owners. Their current assignment is a âPitchâ model, their favorite type. It would be just an ordinary, delightful day at work for Sandy, except that thereâs something a little different about this Pitch. Theyâre just a bit more aware and talkative than most Pitches are so soon after decanting, and this starts Sandy on a path to finally letting themselves think about things theyâve been squashing down since they took this job.
But no matter what Sandy learns or thinks, what can it matter? The Pitch will be delivered to their new owner on schedule and permanently bonded with them. Yet even for testers and constructs, thereâs still a chance to get what they want in the end.
