My feelings regarding the use of AI are complicated. I can’t say I consider it an art form unto itself, but do recognize its potential used as a tool. This piece represents the struggle between the artificial and natural world. Our species has worked hard to separate itself from the natural order. Even going as far as to say we are caretakers of this planet when our track record says otherwise. This piece symbolizes that struggle and our need for superiority as opposed to truth and simplicity. This piece originally was meant to be the performance portion to a past music video, but it never made the cut. After revisiting it was decided that it deserved to see the light of day.
