This used to be such a happy post
I didn’t even have to guess what today’s sketch dailies topic would be. So here’s my tribute I drew for a man who was so full of laughter and love. I really did cry over his loss. Aladdin was one of the films I knew him best for since I grew up with it, along with so many of his other roles. Again, RIP Robin, I’m so sorry you had so much sadness in your life, but I hope that you are in a better place, laughing like you always did for the world.
Never gets old
For a while, she didn't move, just held tight to him and relished having him there. In truth, she held to him for dear life, eventually saying, "Thanks for coming over." She needed this, to be held.
"No need to thank me, Jules. I needed this too." He admitted, pulling back enough to look into her eyes. "I missed you."
Coming Home
She shook her head, wrapping her arms right around him tightly. “It doesn’t matter now. Blank slate, kay?”
"It's not healthy for us to be doing this again. How can we be sure that one of us doesn't leave again. I love you, Lexi.. but I'm just insecure. We need to build this up again."
Juliet had answered the door in loose comfortable clothing and with wet hair, a grateful smile on her face. "Hey yourself." Normally, she would have verbally invited him in, but instead, she pulled him into a hug and nestled her face against his neck without explanation.
Grifith blinked, needing a moment to register to unexpected hug before wrapping his arms around her. Her scent filled his senses, making him smile but also hungry. Lightly placing a kiss on the top of her head, he rested his head on hers.

Send me a ✿ and my muse will react to your muse putting a flower in their hair
She couldn’t help but furrow her brows in curiosity as Grif’s fingers brought the tiny wildflower to the loose braid that hung off her shoulder. Once his hand was out of her way she looked down to see the what he’d done. Gen smiled not because it was a sweet gesture or the way it looked but because it had been years since she wore flowers in her hair. Melancholy and reminiscent of the way she felt when the summers were longer and she wore a different dress every day. To be that happy again, would only be a memory. Her big blue eyes fluttered up to look at him and she shook her head of the emotions she felt over a damn wild flower in her hair. “What’s this for?” She finally asked, twirling the end of the braid unconsciously as she awaited his answer.
"I remembered you loved flowers.. and when I saw this one, I just thought of you." He smiled, staring down at her. "You deserve to be that girl again, Gen. That happy girl with flowers in her hair and a smile on her face" He murmured shyly, knowing it sounded ridiculous. "You look so beautiful right now. I always liked how innocent and sweet you looked with braided hair."
Juliet wasn't even in a state of mind to worry about what she looked like for when he arrived, she just knew that a hot shower sounded good, and so after she said goodbye, she went straight to take one. She was just barely getting out by the time he got there.
The more he began to worry about how he tried to look good for Juliet, the more he began to call himself an idiot. Since when did he care about such things. Knocking on her door, to just be polite, he waited until she opened before walking in himself. "Hi, beautiful.."
Coming Home
"I should never have left. I thought I was going to make myself better and I only made everything worse," she babbled, wide eyes looking into his.
"I forgive you.." His smile dropping for a second. "I've behaved badly as well."
Coming Home
She pressed up into the kiss, a small smile on her lips. She had messed up by leaving, but she was here now, everything could be okay again.
Cupping her face, he pulled back. Smiling at her like a small boy who just got the thing he always wanted. "I'm so glad you're back. My Ali.."
Coming Home
She melted into his embrace, holding him tightly. “I’m not going anywhere,” she whispered shakily. “I’m so sorry. I missed you.”
Sniffling lightly, he pulled back, not giving her enough time to response as he pressed his lips against hers.
"Alright. I'll still be here. If I don't answer, you can come in. I might just not hear the door." Actually, she wanted to take a shower.
"Okay.. I'll see you soon then, beautiful." He smiled, already walking to a mirror to see if he looked 'good' enough.
Coming Home
Lexi winced and nodded, looking down. “Yeah, I did. I’m not exactly proud of it though. I wasn’t..myself.”
"God, Ali.." He breathed, not caring anymore that she was gone for such a long time. Wrapping his arms around her, he buried his face in her neck. "Don't leave me again.."
Coming Home
Lexi’s eyes glanced up in him in shock, and she licked her lip nervously. “How many what?”
"You've fucked and killed people, love? Don't play stupid." He muttered, not believing she actually did such a thing. She was the reason he tried to be good, to try and not kill.
"Of course. You're always welcome over here." It was easier to do for others than it was to do for herself, so if she thought he was coming over for himself, she felt more open.
"I'll remember that. Maybe I'll never leave," He joked, laughing softly. "Give me a moment.. It won't be long until I'm there."
Coming Home
"Uh, Louisiana for a while," she admitted, running a hand through her hair. "I don’t remember a lot of it to be truthful."
Tilting his head, he took a long, good look at her. Leaning closer so he could smell her better, growling dangerously as he stepped back. "How many?"
