Biography: Isabelle Carson has always had a love of reading. Ever since she learned to read, she did nothing else. She is the middle child of three, having one older sister, and one younger.
When she was younger, her family was wealthy; her mother was a Parisian model, and her father a merchant. When she was six, her mother ran off with another model named Babette. Her father fell into a deep depression, losing his job, and plunging his family into poverty. Isabelle did her best to help out around the house, and with her younger sister.
As she got older, Isabelle blossomed like a rose. She grew more beautiful, and proved to have a pure heart. This upset her sisters, who grew more and more jealous of her every day.
When she turned nine, Isabelle was reading out loud to her younger sister, when the words seemed to come to life, creating solid figures in the library. This scared her sister, who ran and told their father. Their father, though very much saddened, sent Isabelle to live with a man who was known to have special powers of his own.
At first it was difficult for Isabelle, but she eventually settled in. After a year, Isabelle missed her family. Her new guardian allowed to go home for a week, but insisted that she come back at the end of the week. Upon her arrival, dressed in nicer clothes than she left in, her sisters grew even more jealous; this time because she seemed to be living better than them. The entire week, they both attempted to convince Isabelle to stay longer, but she insisted she had to return.
She did return after the week was up, and she lived happily. Over the years, her guardian did their best to teach her, but found it was difficult. Recently, an invitation has been sent to her guardian, offering the chance to participate in an exchange program, on the condition that any student participating be accompanied by a guardian.
Now Isabelle is in America, adjusting to the new environment. At least there's a library.
