Quartet Night being amazing as usual ♪ Reiji and Ai duet here! Don’t forget to listen to Ranmaru and Camus duet too!
do you ever look in the мιяяσя and think to yourself─
good ɢᴏᴅ, you’re horrible.
He had this look in his eyes that made you wonder just how m a n y people he’s killed.
( And this… ) grin that made you realize
he’s probably lost count.
azotas:
“Tomato soup.” Only because they were the easiest to work with and was somewhat simple. A scoff as the green-haired teen all but shoved the bowl into the other’s arms. What was the point of even trying to help this fool? “Fine, throw up. I don’t care.” He’s getting his own bowl. Sync knew better than to waste food.
“I said I would if it had meat! And since it doesn’t, I won’t!” Probably. Shaking hands took hold of the bowl and positioned it unsteadily on his lap. If the soup was poisoned as he suspected, he’d much prefer to poison himself than have Sync do it for him. So he reluctantly brought spoonful after spoonful up to his lips, ignoring his body’s increasing insistence for sleep. Letting his guard down more than he already had would be far too humiliating! Ivar found himself dozing off every now and then, only to jerk back awake as he recalled the kind of situation he was in.
azotas:
Green hues watched as he shoved the other back, moving to grab the soup he made, it was bland but sick people needed to eat. “What does it matter? I’m sure it makes you disgusted with yourself to have me of all people to be taking care of you.” A sneer as he grabbed a spoonful a soup and shoved it into the other’s mouth the moment he began to spoke. His true intentions behind “taking care” of Ivar wouldn’t be found out anytime soon.
Just as he opened his lips to say more, there was a spoon forced into his mouth, and his words exited as nothing more than a muffled grumble. He forced himself to swallow the broth (though his stomach disagreed with the prospect) in order to pull his face away and speak again. “I can feed myself just fine! This better be vegetarian, or I’m going to throw up!” Combined with his already debilitating stomachache, the idea of eating meat made him feel incredibly nauseous.
azotas:
How utterly fucking annoying. Eyes narrowed behind the cool metal of his mask as he reached to grab the other by his jaw, giving it a rough squeeze before pressing the bottle to his lips. “Open your mouth and take your medicine. If I wanted you dead you wouldn’t be talking.”
With most of his strength already gone, his lips parted without much resistance. His eyes widened as the medicine-- no, poison, it had to be poison!-- reached his tongue. Ew... it tasted like a miserable imitation of cherries. The barely-veiled bitterness of the liquid caused him to gag, but he had no choice but to swallow it down. When he was finally able to speak again, he choked out, “Maybe you aren’t trying to kill me... but I’m sure you’re planning something equally awful!” Sync would never willingly help him, right?
azotas:
That’s getting ignored. “Then you didn’t want to in the first place.” A hand on the hip but he didn’t follow. “If you really wanted to die, then me telling you to do it wouldn’t change anything.” A sneer behind his mask. “You were just looking for someone to lick your wounds and tell you your life is worth living.”
“You’re right about one thing: I don’t want to die. That’s why I’m going to become better! I’m going to become someone who’s worth staying alive!” It seemed all he needed was some insulting from Sync for his self-doubt to flip to optimism. “And I was talking out loud to myself because I thought I was alone! You really think I would’ve said that if I’d known you were there?”
azotas:
Ivar wasn’t wrong. “Only those of us deemed useful are kept alive out of pity.” A frown as he crossed his arms over his chest. “Then stop wasting everyone’s oxygen and go die.”
“Kept alive? You can fight. What’s stopping you from staying alive whether some higher up wants you to or not?” Ivar finally rose to his feet, now beginning to walk away from Sync. “You know what? I’m not going to. Just because you told me to.”
azotas:
“…Ha?” Was that really self-pity? Ignoring the awful impression of his voice the teen ignored the accusation. It’s not pity if it’s truthful. Eyes narrowed behind his mask at those words. “Shut up.” Ivar was an original, why would he think its right to die? “I don’t want to hear that shit from an original like you!”
“Original? Replica? None of that even matters! None of those things determine whether someone deserves to live or not!” His eyes finally focus on something besides his shoes, darting up to look at Sync. “If I had a replica that was better than me, then he would deserve to exist more than I would. And if we were both useful, then we should both live! It’s that simple, really!”
