I think part of the journey to polytheist fulfillment is to constantly try to deepen your understanding of a deity. Deities are complex, and you can keep learning from them day by day. Such an exercise may sound complicated when you put it that way, but fear not: it can be as easy as it is fun! That’s right, I said fun! To give you an over-simplified example of this concept, I’ve put together a few questions, just to inspire you guys and help you think about a deity you love. Just think, ponder. After all, that is always the very first step to building a bond with a deity. Without further ado, the questions:

If you were to write a story about them, what would it be about?

What is a feeling, or emotion you associate with them?

Do certain childhood, or later memories remind you of them?

Based on your personal experiences with them, how do you picture their personality?

Which areas of your life have improved since you started worshiping them?

My personal advice to someone who’s looking to answer these types of questions seriously would be to write their answers down. Especially if you’re someone who’s interested in journaling, this is the perfect occasion to take down a few notes! Writing down your answers to these makes for a wonderful entry, and it’s also the most efficient way to organize your thoughts and to better remember them!

Casual ways to connect with your deities

-Pray to them or just just talk with them and tell them about your day

-Light a candle and say your thanks

-Offer your meal/snack to them or bake/cook with them or for them

-Watch a movie in their honor

-Offer your morning drink to them or make a cup for them

-Assign them a plant and take care of it as a devotion to them

-Listen to music that reminds you of them

-Say good morning/good night

-Thank them for the things you see that you consider beautiful

Domination Spells

Y'all seem to be really interested in spells like these and I’ve gotten so many requests to post more stuff like this. So, here are some of my best tips and tricks I’ve accumulated over the years to make spells like this work best.

In my experience, I have had the most success with black, purple, and red candles. Purple is used for domination spells often as it symbolizes power. Black absorbs all other colors and can be used as a stand-in for any spell. Red is often used in love spells but is underrated and under- utilized in domination and other defensive spells like tapa boca (shut up) ones in my opinion and for me has proven very successful.

If you are using a doll or person representation in a spell where you are trying to dominate someone, turn the doll upside down on its head. By putting your doll upside down it puts pressure on the target to bend to your will as well as shows them they are in your control and you have them turned upside down.

Cloves. While they resemble nails which is a plus (nail someone down/pinning someone down=controling them), they are a powerful agent in domination and defensive spells alike. In a glass-encased candle, I typically stick 5 on top, but powder can be used around a candle as well.

Alum works really well for sour jars and shut up spells, it is essential for me in these types of works.

High John the conquer oil, tame sheep, and bend over oil are all oils you can make or buy at a reputable botanica. These are my favorites to use, but it all depends on the type of work your doing. if it is a love domination spell, for example, you might be better off using something like bend over if you want your partner to be submissive to you.

Keep the petition with the person’s name that it is already dressed with your oils in your shoe. Now the person is literally beneath your feet as you assert your position over them.

These are just a few tips/tricks I have picked up over the years that I thought would be helpful. Happy casting!

attraction spell

this is a spell to attract someone to you, whether it’s a lost connection or someone you’ve talked to a few times. this spell won’t force them to do anything against their will, it will just make them more attracted to your energy.

what you will need:

red pen

piece of paper

rose quartz

four pink/ red/ purple/ etc candles

a fire safe container

a lighter/ matches

a separate sealable container (optional)

tip: i reccomend listening to pagan poetry by björk!

what to do:

cast your circle

set the candles in each cardinal direction

light each candle, beginning with the east

write down the name or a description of the person you’d like to attract

fold the paper as small as you’d like and, using the east candle, light it on fire and place it in your fire safe bowl

snuff or blow out the east candle and move it next to the west candle, allowing an opening on the east

holding your rose quartz in your hands, visualize your person for as long as you’d like

snuff or blow out each candle

transfer the ashes to a sealable container or bury them outside

“Come to Me” Spell

A spell to draw someone to you so that you will meet; or, a means of forcing an interaction for someone who has been avoiding you. 

Ingredients:

A lot of red thread

A white candle

Honey

Gardenia

Citronella

A picture of the target and their name or a poppet to represent them

Method:

If sigils are your style you’ll want a straightforward “come to me” one that you carve into your candle and place on their picture. Rub the candle sparsely with your herbs, flowers, and honey. Tie your red thread around your candle at one end and, with some distance between them, their picture at the other end. Light your candle and state your purpose clearly and specifically (”X will seek me out within a month by phone, email, text, or in person”). As you speak, slowly turn the candle clockwise thereby winding up the thread and pulling their picture towards you. Once the thread is fully wound up you will take their picture and place it somewhere where you will carry it with you (a purse, a pocket, your glovebox, etc.). That way, the picture will continue to draw them towards you wherever you may be.

How to act like you already have everything you want?

Be delusional.

Let’s take a simple example, you want to manifest clear skin but you have acne or scarring or something and every time you go in front of the mirror you see it and find it difficult to manifest it properly. Or when people point it out to you, you get insecure.

Now gaslight yourself into thinking that’s stupid.

Like imagine you’re wearing a blue shirt and someone goes ‘that’s an ugly ass orange shirt’. What’s your first reaction? Insecurity or being like oh that persons blind as fuck, why are they calling my blue shirt orange, are they good?

Just think of it the same way. The moment you affirmed you have clear skin, you have clear skin. If the mirror shows otherwise, the mirrors malfunctioning. If other people are pointing it out, it’s think of it as are their eyes okay?

Your imagination is the only reality that matters. If something doesn’t match up with your desires, it’s that thing that’s not working properly not you. If the weighing machine shows 60kg when you wanna be 55 or something? There’s something wrong with it OBVIOUSLY.

(Please don’t use this as an excuse to be rude to other people though, stay polite while living in delusion 😹😹😹.)

Let’s talk about “Inspired Action” in the Law of Attraction✨

What is inspired action?

The Law of Attraction always requires you to take some form of action to make your dreams come true. This is called inspired action.

How do you know when action is ‘Inspired Action’?

Well, inspired action comes from internal nudging. It comes from your gut (or intuition). You’ll have (or feel) an internal desire to do something. Anything. Could be from buying a book, going out to some place, calling a person. Literally could be any action.

Let’s say that something is telling you to call your friend Anna. You don’t know why but there’s something internally that’s urging you to pick up the phone and call her. Following through this may help you manifest your desire. Anna may have what you want or know someone you need to talk to who will help you achieve your goal. Or she may have seen something related to your dream that could help you (an ad, message, whatever).

Be aware that any Ego-based actions are NOT inspired action. Fear, anger, loneliness, desperation, guilt, greed, jealousy, hopelessness are feelings connected to Ego- based thoughts. Any actions that stem from these, are NOT inspired action.

1) Ask yourself what is motivating you to take that action. Is it fear? Desperation? Hopelessness? Loneliness? If it is, then it’s not inspired action.

2) Have you thought about what will happen when you take that action? If you are looking for something specific, it’s not inspired action.

3) Are you thinking of taking this action because you don’t have that thing/person? If it is the case, it’s not inspired action. This is coming from a feeling of lack.

Inspired action usually occurs when you are following your heart and you are doing what makes you happy, and you are not trying to control anything. If you have the feeling of being and having your desire in the moment you think of taking an action, it’s inspired action.

If it doesn’t feel exciting, don’t do it.

If you’re “trying to make things happen”, don’t do it.

Do not force anything. Inspired action is not something you force. It comes naturally from your intuition.

Noisy Neighbour

To put a stop to loud and thoughtless neighbours who cannot be reasoned with. You've asked them to stop and they haven't. Now it's time for some witchcraft.

MATERIALS

Fabric Scraps - enough to make a poppet for each member of the family

Dirt from their property or trash they've thrown out

Small Cardboard Box

Permanent Marker

List of Grievances with a big STOP at the top of the list.

Make a poppet for each member of your neighboring household with a bit of dirt from their property (or trash they've thrown out) and their names inside. Sew the mouths shut on the poppets of the noisy neighbours and throw them in the little cardboard box.

Then, decorate the small cardboard box to look like their house and make sure to add their address. Read through your list of grievances:

STOP

1. shouting all the time

2. Playing loud music every day till 11pm. Etc.

Put the list of grievances in the box and tape it up. Give the box a good shake anytime your neighbours get annoying and if one in particular will not be quiet, feel free to pull out the pins and start poking their poppet in the head. A headache will follow and they won't feel like shouting or playing loud music anymore. Such a shame.

Valentine's Day Magick/Love Magick

Easy love spell to attract a crush

What you will need:

A piece of paper

A pen or pencil

A sigil for love

Optional: rose quartz, rose pedals

-First, write the name of whoever you want to get attention from on your piece of paper.

-Fold the paper up as much as you can

-Rub the piece of paper gently in your hands until it is warm

-Meditate with the piece of paper, saying “I call upon (insert deity or the universe here) to bring (your target person) into my life romantically” note: if you give an offering to your deity of choice before the prayer, the spell will work much better, and is generally more respectful.

-Say this over and over, feeling the energy of the divine flowing through your hands and into the piece of paper

-Once you feel the piece of paper is charged with energy, say, “may it be so!”

-Place it under your pillow, preferably for three days. For the best results, place it one day before the full moon, on the full moon, and after the full moon for maximum effects. If you have rose quartz and rose pedals, you can place them in a satchet together with the folded piece of paper.

If your spell doesn’t work, it isn’t meant to be. But, I have found this very helpful!
