whats a UHM?
On today’s second link, talk turned to beards (apparently Finchy is growing one), and Nick decided that they were going to do it together. Eventually he asked Matt why he was growing a beard, and Matt said “Because my girlfriend likes it, to be honest.”
The rest of the conversation was:
Nick: Well, my Uhmmmm
Finchy: Your Ummm?
Fiona: *jumps in and derails the conversation*
Usually after something like this, they end up in the well-worn territory of Nick’s Perpetual Singleness of Doom, complete with Church Bells of Loneliness, but that didn’t happen this time.
Long story short: it might be that Nick’s got himself an Uhm. (shorthand for boyfriend.)
