I’m going to be real with y’all: I love the ’60s so much, it’s actually ridiculous. Would I want to live there? Hmm, as a black chick, probably not. But if I did, I know that I’d be living in one of the most fascinating decades in history. The politics were changing, people were out there protesting for what they believe in, the music was amazing, the clothes were out of sight, we were going to the moon…so much was happening. Of course, so many awful things happened, too, but that doesn’t take away from the fascination.
