Following his glance, she looked down at the gracidea. She always thought of them to be so pretty.
âNice to meet you, Gavin. Again, Iâm sorry about startling you. Itâs not everyday I see someone growing flowers.â
CeCe looked back at him, resting her hands together in front of her. It was definitely a sight to see someone with powers very similar to hers. Too bad she probably made a bad first impression on the guy. At least he didnât attack her out of self-defense.
âYouâre very talented at growing flowers. When I saw you do it, it was like it was completely effortless for you. Thatâs amazing.â
âItâs my job. To grow flowers. Purify areas. That and gratitude.âÂ
He made a motion to the gracidea. He seemed disinclined to touch it or pick it up in any way. He was more than well aware of what it would do. He could grow them, sure. He could just as easily wear them. Didnât mean he ever intended to. Wearing a gracidea meant heâd be Sky Forme. Which meant, when he was masquerading as a human, he tossed most of his caution to the wind, become bolder and more talkative.
And if he was going to be honest; that was really the polar last thing he really wanted to do just then. Heâs actually surprised sheâd stuck around this long. Kudos to her for it. Normally other people would have left, disinterested in him and his rather blunt untalkative nature. Was he really that interesting to her?Â
He finally raised his eyes up to her, glancing at her for the first time and actually taking in details. Heâd not bothered before because he had little interest and figured sheâd lose hers. Seems she hadnât, so he might as well pique his own, albeit very slightly.
