Disclaimer: Oyibode never canvassed support for the failed Okowa’s SMART Agenda A false claim recently published in the ‘SMART Agenda Reloaded: Prosperity Journey Continues 2019’, purporting that Chief Gabriel Oyibode, an APC chieftain and Delta North Senatorial Aspirant, canvassed for support for the failed Okowa’s administration had caught our attention and we wish to emphatically urge respected Deltans and the general populace to disregard such unfounded and malicious lies propagandized against the indefatigable Oyibode. We are not surprised that those who cannot contend with the ever burgeoning reputation of Chief Oyibode as a tenacious force to send Okowa packing from the Osadebe House in 2019, would propagate such pittance of lies, in order to throw a monkey wrench into the efforts of Chief Oyibode to achieve the aforementioned mandate. A journey down memory lane reveals that the illegitimate conduct of the affairs of the PDP was the sole reason Chief Oyibode rejected an offer from Okowa, to work as one of his campaign DGs in 2015 which he immediately left the PDP for APC, where he remains dogged and supportive of the party's cause in 2019. It's a pity that the brains behind this cheap blackmail are not just myopic but are political neophytes guided by the compass of desperation to impress their paymasters, thereby not coming to terms with the reputation of Chief Oyibode as a dogged and uncompromising party man.
