I looked around in this unfamiliar place. Where was I? where was the white haired man who helped escape? Why did my head hurt?

"H-Hello? please... is... anyone out there?"

I heard footsteps.

"Hello? can you hear me?"

They were coming towards me.

"A-Are you here to help me?"

"Hey, don't worry" i said aproaching the girl before reaching her shoulders "Everything is going to be okay. What are you doing here?"

"n-name is..." Nina's throat felt raw, "Nina Anansi"

"Okey Nina, I'm gonna give you some water to drink and you are going to tell me everything you can remember" he said before reaching to the glass of water beside the bed and giving it to her.

Nina nodded shyly as she took the glass.

"I... speak... not very well" she said as she looked away.

"It's okey, we'll think about something..." He said looking around him until he saw the datapad lying around in one of the tables "That could work..." he whispered before reaching it "There might be a translator in the holonet from basic to... whatever you speak. We could try it, right?"

"good.... probably" Nina said tilting her head in thought

"Okey, here you go" he said while giving her the datapad "Write something and let's see if this translator works."

"Don't worry, I'm going to get you out of here" Said Fives before taking her hands out of her face and making her look at him "But I need you to be strong for a little bit, can you manage that?"

Nina looked up at the man before taking a deep breath. "Yes.. Yes I can.."

"Okey, great. Let's get you out of here. A friend of mine is waiting for me outside, she'll help you too" Fives started running through the hallways making sure the girl was following him. What the hell was she doing here? This place was supposed to be secret, they were here to get some info (that he had already acquired), but there shouldn't be anyone here.

Her legs were numb and she ran after the man. She could sense he was suspicious of her. But... why?

too many questions swirled around in Nina's head to the point she felt dizzy.

"Okey we are nearly there" he whispered to her before taking his comm device. "I'm reaching the rendevouz and I bring someone with me. Prepare the medbay" Fives waited for the Roger that from his partner in crime before he looked behind him and watched as the girl was stumbling a little bit before he held her by her shoulders "You have to be strong a little bit more and you'll be safe"

Nina nodded tiredly.

What had happened before she turned up in this place? what is this place?

She nearly tripped over a piece of protruding floor tiling but was able to catch her step quickly and keep running.

They turned the corner into an open area and there it was the light freighter, waiting for him, slightly hovering avobe the platform without landing completely. Fives helped the girl aboard before entering himself and closing the ramp. "We're inside, get us out of here!" He shouted before the ship lunged outside the planet's atmosphere.

Nina was dizzy and it felt like her throat was numb. the swaying of the ship didn't help at all...

Her feet hurt from all that running and she felt her vision getting darker until...

I can't see...

I CAN'T SEE!!

Nina began to panic and when she bumped into something, she recoiled with a terrified shout.

"It's me, don't worry, I just saved you there, remember?" said Fives trying to calm her while reaching for her shoulders "What's going on? Is everything alright?"

"N-No....see," the girl muttered, "dark.... all d-dark..."

with that Nina's legs gave out as her mind swept into slumber. That last thing she remembered was falling into someone's arms

"Kriff..." whispered Fives when he catched her in his arms. "Yennes! I need your help here!"

Yennes had just finnished putting the autopilot in the ship when she heard the clone shouting. She entered the cargo bay and saw Fives awkardly holding an unconscious girl in his harm. "What the kriff have you done now?" she said reaching for her neck and looking for her pulse.

"Let's bring her to the medbay. I'll put an IV and bacta in her wounds, lets see if that helps. Tinker will run a scan and see if she need something more.

All she could feel was that she was floating in a haze...

Nina's senses were dulled, but she could feel someone on the outskirts of her force detection..

Ger?

Fives left her in the cot inside the medbay while Yennes started getting what she needed. A little BD-unit appeared out of nowhere and started scanning her right away. "She is moving a little bit, maybe a bad dream. Should we do something?" He asked, turning to Yennes, who had just arrived at his side.

Yennes started checking the scans before inserting the IV "She doesn't seem to have anything that should worry us, so probably she needs to rest. I guess the painkillers could help with her squirming" she said before starting inserting the fluids in her system.

The little ghost formed at the base of her senses, she could feel his presence now. It was Ger!

He turned away from her slightly in the plane they were in. He raised his arm made a twirling gesture with his hand, "Blackouts, roundabout " he spoke sharply, as if giving a command.

GER! It's me! I'm here!

That was the last thing Nina registered before she fell completely unconscious.

"Okay, I think that should do it. We should let her rest a couple of hours." said Yennes before looking directly at Fives "Meanwhile, you're going to tell me where you found her in the middle of a mission"

"I don't know!" he shrugged before following Yennes to the cockpit "I basically stumbled upon her while escaping. And, by the way, the mission was completed." He said before throwing at her a datarod. "Your welcome. I know I'm great"

Nina was dizzy when she woke up again.

"Is... person..??" she asked groggily

"Hey there" he whispered putting himself in her line of sight and showing his hands "Don't worry. You are safe now. Do you remember your name?"

"Fives?!" Echo asked shocked

Fives turned around and looked for whoever had just said his name, but the face that looked at him... It couldn't be... "No... It can't be... E-echo?"

The cyborg clone rushed towards him and pulled him into a hug tightly before sobbing

Fives couldn't believe it. His brother, he was supposed to be dead, he saw him die in that explosion. But here he was, cligging to him like a lifeline, so he wasted no time in hugging him back. "Echo... you're alive..."

"Its....a long story"

Fives sepparated from him enough to look at his face throgh his tears "What happened to you?"

"...tambour....kept me in an icebox..." echo shuddered softly "replaced my limbs..i lost..."

"Hey... look at my vod" said Fives before lightly taking his face and making Echo look at his eyes "It's okey. I'm... I'm so s-sorry. Oh Force I left you behind... I left you there" he whispered before he started hyperventilating

"....I'm with clone force 99 ..now...." echo explained before leading him to the marauder "hey rex look who i found!"

Rex's jaw dropped, breath escaping him momentarily. "N-No... Fives?" His voice broke on his friend's name. "Fives, is that really you?"

He sat in his chair in the marauder "...i..really wanna karking punch fox"

Rex shook his head, gaze never leaving Fives. "Forget Fox, how the kriff are you alive?! I... I held you as you..." Rex's voice broke again, unable to say the word, holding back the tears that so desperately wanted to fall. "How?"

"I... someone saved me... a friend. It really wasn't Fox's fault, he was probably being controlled by that stupid emperor. Rex, I'm so sorry. I should've tried harder, I should have told you. I should have done something while I could..."

"Whoa whoa whoa, back up. I don't give a damn about Fox right now, kark the chips and Palpatine, I don't care. A friend? I HELD YOU AS YOU KRIFFING DIED! I tried everything to help you!What the hell do you call me, am I not your friend?!" Rex's anger burst forth. Though he wasn't exactly angry with Fives; more still in shock. But he did want to know the truth. "Tell me right now. Who was it."

"Okey, don't get mad. She's a mercenary. She was saw everything that happened in that warehouse with a friend of hers who could keep me stable until they reached a doctor. She might have stolen my not so dead body." said Fives trying and failing, to calm his brothers "I've been with her since then"

Echo bursted into laughter and joy and happy tears "see i told ya you were a ladies man fives!"

Rex put a hand to his head. "I'm just still- Fives, I watched you die and I was kicking and screaming as they dragged me away from you. I'm-" Rex's fist clenched. "I'm not mad in the slightest, well, I am, but not at you. I'm mad at myself." Rex met his friend's eyes. "I should have done something! Tried harder! Checked to make sure!! But I left you there!!" Rex shook his head. "How can I ever forgive myself for that? I left you..."

"Rex... It was not your fault, I never blamed you. If you had helped me you and I both know how that would have ended. Please... vod...You did all you could"

Rex nodded slowly, attempting to force down the remaining guilt. "Y-Yeah. Thanks, Fives," he mumbled, trying and failing to mask the pain on his face. "But... if you've been alive all this time... why have you never contacted me? Just even a hint of a clue or something that might have taken me out of the depression-" his voice froze and he eyed his friend. "The drinking, the anger, the pain... and all that time you were completely fine?"

"Rex hang on.... fives is in no way an asshole " he defended his friend "he probably couldn't contact you" echo always tried to be the voice of reason

"....me and hunter's lot saw..it.... caleb ..managed to get away...dippa bilab wasn't so lucky..........Crosshair tried to kill the kid.." echo was close to tears "you were right fives..i if if i hadn't been near that shuttle i could've helped you if i had been better 99 heavy....they would've been alive!"

"Okey, that's enough!" shouted Fives as he looked at his brothers. Every word they said just making him angrier "I'm gonna stop this pity party right here! "I'm not mad in the slightest, well, I am, but not at you. I'm mad at myself." Rex met his friend's eyes. "I should have done something! Tried harder! Checked to make sure!! But I left you there!!" Rex shook his head. "How can I ever forgive myself for that? I left you..."

"Don't worry, I'm going to get you out of here" Said Fives before taking her hands out of her face and making her look at him "But I need you to be strong for a little bit, can you manage that?"

"Okey, great. Let's get you out of here. A friend of mine is waiting for me outside, she'll help you too" Fives started running through the hallways making sure the girl was following him. What the hell was she doing here? This place was supposed to be secret, they were here to get some info (that he had already acquired), but there shouldn't be anyone here.

Her legs were numb and she ran after the man. She could sense he was suspicious of her. But... why?

"Okey we are nearly there" he whispered to her before taking his comm device. "I'm reaching the rendevouz and I bring someone with me. Prepare the medbay" Fives waited for the Roger that from his partner in crime before he looked behind him and watched as the girl was stumbling a little bit before he held her by her shoulders "You have to be strong a little bit more and you'll be safe"

She nearly tripped over a piece of protruding floor tiling but was able to catch her step quickly and keep running.

They turned the corner into an open area and there it was the light freighter, waiting for him, slightly hovering avobe the platform without landing completely. Fives helped the girl aboard before entering himself and closing the ramp. "We're inside, get us out of here!" He shouted before the ship lunged outside the planet's atmosphere.

Nina was dizzy and it felt like her throat was numb. the swaying of the ship didn't help at all...

Her feet hurt from all that running and she felt her vision getting darker until...

I can't see...

Nina began to panic and when she bumped into something, she recoiled with a terrified shout.

"It's me, don't worry, I just saved you there, remember?" said Fives trying to calm her while reaching for her shoulders "What's going on? Is everything alright?"
