My OC Fic
So this is the intro to the fic I wrote about my OC, Cormick. I meant to post this like... last year, but way too many things are going on so I'm posting it now.
The New Kid
CT-1133 is a shiny assigned to the Coruscant Guard, and he's not exactly like other clones. He's far more enthusiastic, upbeat, his childhood freckles never went away, and he loves to dye his hair bright colors. Everyone wonders how this kid made it to the CG, and Commander Fox is not happy with his new soldier. But Cormick is determined to prove he can be just as good as his older brothers, that he can be a part of the esteemed Guard, that he can make Marshal Commander Fox proud. Cormick won't give up. It's not something he does.
Commander Colt looked over the troop assignments, curious as to where the new soldiers were sent. He was rather proud of the newest troopers; they’d done well in training and were determined beyond belief.
He nodded at the several that he saw were being sent into the 212th and the 501st, then his eyes caught on one particular boy.
CT-1133.
Assignment: Coruscant Guard.
Colt’s eyes went wide. CT-1133 had been one of his favorite cadets, but he wasn’t exactly ordinary. If anything, he was rather unorthodox. Still, he’d been the best of his batch in training. He was a good soldier and Colt knew that he had it in him to be successful.
But all he could think about was the fact that CT-1133 wouldn’t last long under Commander Fox.
Wait, you were actually born in the 1900's? Thats so cool
i am going to eat my own entire skin
Reblog if you were born in the 1900's.
Literally have a bumper sticker that says "Be Patient With Me I'm From The 1900's"
Stone: Huh...I'm surprised that film lived up to the hype. Thorn: It was really good! What a touching plot. Thire: Guys... Stone and Thorn turn around to see Fox holding back sobs. Stone, gasping: Oh... Thorn, bopping himself on the forehead: A story about a father and son becoming estranged and then reuniting! Of course it affected him! Stone: Let's swing by a diner on the way back, my treat. Thorn, pulling Fox against him and rubbing his back: There there... Thire, sighing: I'll try to reach Alpha-17... Fox, choking on a sob: Buir...
You are a leach. Main St America was destroyed by Amazon. Competitors were systematically crushed. You bought the Washington Post and destroyed it for better billionaire PR.
Not sure why it's a new trend among fic readers to assume if the fic has not been posted within the week it's inappropriate to comment on it, like the fic has to be hot out of the oven to give feedback for.
I got a comment on a fic that is less than a year old and it was mostly an apology for being a comment on an "old fic" and how late they were in commenting.
Just comment on the fic. Doesn't matter how old it is.
Fandom is not social media.
Fandom is not trends.
Fandom is a cross between a library and having a slumber party with your friends.
"Old" means nothing to fic.
I had someone comment on a fic that was not finished and hadn't been updated in five years and they gave it such a nice compliment and so nicely said they would love an update that I actually dig it out of my archives and wrote a few more chapters because one comment reminded me of something I had forgotten about.
COMMENT ON OLD FICS. It's especially important because some people have spent years writing specific fics and if people stop commenting or liking we get the idea that it's just forgotten forever and it's no good.

So thoroughly nuked that there isn’t even any record of their original blog url
The Forbidden Knowledge
not even any notes. I feel like I’ve stumbled upon a plot-advancing skeleton’s notebook
they were erased
they knew too much
“scientists don’t want you know” is a phrase that always cracks me up because if you actually meet a scientist they will be shaking and crying like an overstimulated chihuahua with the need to let you know
I feel sorry for the old man, but it was stealing. There is no apparently about it. Water is not free, it’s not a right to have it, and people pay must pay for it. If a government gives a thing to you like utilities, its still not free because they take it from somewhere else, like in taxes.
my friend visiting my house: hey i’m thirsty can i get a glass of water
me:
Nestle isn’t gonna fuck you
Also water IS a human right, it’s classified as one by the UN the only country that really disagrees with this is the United States
I know this post is a few years old, but I stumbled on it and I just want to also point out… Even aside from water being free or not, even aside from water being a human right,
the old man wasn’t stealing.
He was using a neighbor’s water, that the neighbor pays for, with the neighbor’s permission. Nothing was stolen. The old man just wasn’t the one paying. If someone comes to my house and I let them charge their phone while they’re there, are they STEALING electricity because I’m the one who pays the electric bill? If I take someone out to dinner, are they STEALING their meal if I pay for both of us? Get fucked.
I hope that person has become a better kinder person since 2021, but I"m not holding my breath.
