how covid hasn't sparked some kind of genuine sustainable revolt centred around healthcare being a human right and the inhumanity of capitalism is beyond me. instead people just walk around willingly spouting shit about saving the economy because they want to go out to eat and kill their grandparents while they're at it

Not to be a joykill but having a caffeine addiction literally sucks fucking ass and if you notice you're starting to rely on caffeine (even lower caffeine drinks like soda) to stay awake, feel alive, etc I really urge you to cut down your consumption because it's going to lead to addiction if it hasn't already.
This is a post for everyone but I'm especially looking at my fellow students and alternative people because I know caffeinated drinks are really popular and relied on in both communities.
When I used to be a college student and worked a part time job, I relied heavily on Monster. Like I remember I would have one with breakfast (using that term very loosely, I barely had a meal) and a pick me up in the afternoon. If I couldn’t get Monster, I would drink redbull or Starbucks iced coffees. Like I would be bouncing off the walls in no time but slowly but surely I would gain a tolerance and I would feel tired and shitty all the time.

im creating a subgenre of dark academia called grey academia. less classism and less subtle racism. less drugs and alcohol. less wildly expensive colleges and clothes. still with the biting chill of the autumn wind. instead of tweed and carefully pressed suits it’s denim jackets, flannel, and combat boots. everyone carries sketchbooks where they can draw in their long droning classes or write down quick notes or ramble about their feelings. everyone fights to make academia more accessible to the masses. everything is vaguely punk rock and no one dies
Sounds like a hufflepuff

latin phrases i wish to remember:
♡ "veni, vidi, vici." - i came, i saw, i conquered.
♡ "vivamus, moriendum est." - let us live, for we must die.
♡ "ergo dum me diligis." - so long as you love me.
♡ "alis volat propriis." - she flies with her own wings.
♡ "sic mundus creatus est." - thus the world was created.
♡ “aut inveniam viam aut faciam.” - i shall either find a way, or make one.
