were you born a human-gardevoir? or was that a later-in-life development? can you learn Pokemon moves/battle the way a non-hybird would? does it affect your diet?
In my case, it's a later-in-life development, one born out of extreme desperation.
I can learn moves - so far I've discovered I have access to Teleport, Ally Switch, Will o' Wisp, Magical Leaf, Protect, and Psychic - but I'm not very good at using them, to say the least! I've lost count of the times I've accidentally teleported from sneezing too hard or unintentionally launched something I meant to telekinetically pick up. (It's a matter of practise, really; I'm better than I was, but I wouldn't say I'm competent with my abilities yet.)
I "battled" once, but I'll admit that was purely a case of operating entirely off of instinct. I had no idea what I was doing, but those I care about were in danger and I just. . . Acted. Without any thought. I suppose that was a case of the infamous protective instincts of a Gardevoir surfacing.
I don't think it's effected my diet too much, aside from developing incredibly intense cravings for very sweet and sugary things, especially after using my powers a lot. (Elgyem experiences something similar, but I don't think it's quite as intense in his case.) So my digestive system, at least, seems to mostly function as a human's does.
I guess it depends on what species you are now? I'm technically a former human. but I could click human OR hybird and I would still technically be correct.

I just feel like a weird looking Pikachu. Some people in my position feel like it's a past life thing and maybe that's true too, but I feel like if everyone in the world got hit with a beam that made their truest authentic self reflect on the outside, I'd be a Pikachu. I see my partner pokemon Pikachu like a brother, and we grew up together that way.
I have no personal connection to humanity tbh, though I don't mind behaving kind of human for the benefit of my team and the privileges it gives me. I know I have to treat my body like a human one because that's how it functions, but it's more of an inconvenient reality than anything I have a connection to.

Er. . . Yesn't? So yes AND no to being a Pokémon? So sort of a hybrid but not really? I'm kind of my own thing; scholars and scientists would hate me if they had to classify what I am.
im kinda in a bad place rn, or like. a bit worse than usual, i dont have a set fixation so my brain feels like its falling apart, im tired and a tad bit lost in General, which means im less active (although im sad about it because i miss everyone!!! but no motivation to do most things is kicking me!!!)
this is also why my rotomblr blogs have been quiet and inconsistent with their activity, im very sorry and sad i cant ever seem to bring my stories to life the way i want.
