Lots of people have asked if traditional works are okay. Yes they are accepted as long as you are able to scan your art at 300 dpi or higher, and meets the criteria for sizing. Feel free to include traditional works in the portfolios once applications open!

Hello! The Mods from the the [Give Me Fire] zine would like to introduce themselves and tell you a bit about their skills! Gury: Hi everyone. Drawing is a passion of mine and one day hope to turn this hobby into something more professional in the future. I have 4 years experience tabling at conventions now and would like to expand my skill set to other areas. This would be my first time modding and organising a zine, but I’ll give it my best and hope you guys have a seamless experience. Crylica: Hi I’m gay and love producing illustrations! I’ve had press experience from producing a high school yearbook and an art book for a university art club! I have also contributed to UNSW Artbook 2018. Whilst this is my first time modding an international zine project, I’ll definitely try my best to produce a high quality product!
Kira: Hello, I’m Kira! I love drawing, and also cute things. I enjoy drawing fan art of characters i love the most! I travel around a lot to sell my art at conventions. I had joined multiple zines as an illustrator and merch artist, as well as a cover artist, but this is my first time modding a zine online. Even though that may be the case for all of the mods here, we will try our best to provide all participants with a memorable and positive experience! Please do have confidence in us! Astrovique: Yooo! The name’s Astrovique, coming to you live from the dazzling and devoted team of the Dororo Zine! Just a casual illustrator who spontaneously draws any fandoms I’m currently into~ I’ve also participated in zines before such as the BNHA Jobs Zine, Noctuary: A RPG Horror Maker Zine, Compass: A Jihyun Kim Zine, Bleach Modern Zine, The Devilman Tarot Project and am currently working on a few others as well~ I hope my team and I make this an enjoyable experience for everyone participating! Looking forward to working with y’all! Dinhosaur: Hi there! Dinhosaur here and as one of the moderators for the Dororo fanzine, my focus role as the graphic designer, aims to push this project to a high quality standard. This is supported by my past experiences in producing physical books from previous projects. I’ll also be contributing my illustrations from the Dororo universe into the fanzine. -What is Dororo?-
Dororo was originally a manga created by Osamu Tezuka, and has recently been adapted into an anime series. The story revolves around Dororo and Hyakkimaru, and their journey together.
-What is a zine? What kind of zine is it?- In this case, a zine is a collection of works from a variety of artists to showcase a fandom. The Give Me Fire zine is a fan art book that will include illustrations portraying the world of Dororo and their characters.
-Who will be accepted into the project?- We will be accepting illustrators and merch artists!
