I donāt think Gwen is financially supporting kingston at all right now. Heās never lived on his own, he went straight from GRās house after high school to living with his girlfriend in San Diego while she attended college, where she had a roommate and I assume her parents pay for her apartment while sheās in college there. Then, when she moved out for the summer after school was over, King went right back to GRās house. I assume if he had access to more money from his parents, he would be living on his own somewhere. I tend to think that finances were part of his division with Gwen and Blake when he turned 18. I wonder if he thought he would get his trust fund when he turned 18 and he didnāt and he also decided not to go to college but pursue music which, although Iām sure they were all ultra supportive of, I could see Gwen and Blake saying they werenāt going to fund his entire music career and projects and living expenses. They helped him plenty in the ways they thought were appropriate, letting him have the stage and audience at ole red, Gwen introducing him to very good writers that she had worked with personally and them all introducing him to various musicians to take lessons with, etc. But thereās a point at which your kids have to sink or swim on their own and he may have not been happy with that decision and thatās when he decided to move out to GRās house as soon as he turned 18. I think he was trying to hurt Gwen and Blake, which is a fairly typical response from a teenager that feels wronged and thinks they know everythingļæ¼
