Lunch break had just begun, and Guinevere had raced to the most local of sandwich and soup places. The place was tiny, her own personal whole in the wall. It wasn’t extremely packed, nor was it exactly easy to find a table. Guinevere would take any seat she could find if it meant getting her hands on a coup of tomato soup or cheese toasties. After her order, she looked around her, focusing her sights on to the person sitting next to her. “Hey, you know, I love it here, but soon my hunger will surpass my patience. I ordered a tomato soup and cheese toastie on the side, what about you?”
“This is my first time finding this place so I thought I’d try the French Onion soup,” she admitted, still having a menu in hand as she answered the woman’s question. “Have you tried all their options? Maybe you can steer me in the right direction. I don’t want to order the wrong thing, you know?”
“Oh, the french onion soup is literally to die for.” Guinevere commented. “I have by far eaten here at least weekly since forever, and I can easily say there isn’t a bad item on the menu.” She said truthfully. “ I’ll warn you that the French Onion Soup comes in a large bowl. Not that you need to worry what the portion is, but make sure you have enough appetite. Did you just come from work?”
