wanderlust

I used to be a wandering soul, floating from town to town, staying as long as I pleased, but now I'm stuck. I'm stuck on this island where I'll spend the rest of my life tied to a cell or a owner. I just want to be free again.

          " oh --- I'm glad everything is okay. "

he held the hug and looked into her eyes.. “Oh yeah.. I could tell” he teased her.. and before she could respond he leaned in and kissed her response..

    Gypsy chuckled into  the  kiss,  one  hand     rising to brush along his jaw  slowly.  She     pulled away after a few moments, smiling     up at him.

          " so, where have you been, huh? "

he made a small smirk admiring her strength.. and then reached around her and gently pulled her into a hug

    Gypsy smiled relaxing into his grasp, her      arms tightening around his waist giving a     small squeeze.

          " y'know, I did kind of miss you. "

          " so? ---  I'm  a  grown  woman             I should be able to go outside             in the evening. "

"Tell me about it.. I used to love valentines day.."

          " I've never really  been  a             fan, but I at least  wish   I             could at least try to enjoy             it outside. "

          " oh,  boohoo,  at  least             you're not stuck in here. "

"not as busy as you made out to be hmm? would it be okay if I hugged you?"

          " sometimes I like to bluff. ---             yeah, of course it would. "

          " about  as  well  as  you   can             be after spending an eternity             in a cell. "

"oh really? well I’m sure none of them had my charm with ropes.. " he laughed..

          " mmhmm, I was busy             the whole time. --- I             don't know, you'd be             surprised  by   some             people here. "

          " spending Valentines' day             in a cell... how fun. "

          " nah, not really.  ---  I             had plenty of people             to keep my company. "

          " last time I checked  I  wasn't             ten and didn't need a curfew.             --- this is so stupid. "

        " well, I was on  my  way  back  to  LA           and  I  had  a  layover  in  London.  I           go pulled aside  for  what  I  thought           was  just  a  security  search,  but   I           ended up getting shoved on a plane           here. "
