I saw you mentioning you’ve been writing for a long time and I was wondering if you would open to share tips and advices! I have so many ideas but I have no idea how to execute them. Do I just write? Plan scenes? I feel like I know what I wanna write but I don’t know how to REACH that scene if that make sense?

this is so very sweet. the main advice i can give is just to write. write everything, type, keep a journal in your bag, write write & write.

i took a writing break that lasted nearly two and a half years after writing everyday for most of my life and it really messed with my head. that being said, TAKE BREAKS, but like multiple years might throw you off lmao. getting back into writing after that break was a NIGHTMARE, it felt impossible, i spent six months just trying to write and i literally could not get further than a few paragraphs. i sat down and basically forced myself to write, and it wasn't good, but it was something, and i did that daily for weeks until i started writing things that i liked. write everything, write down ideas that don't make sense, if you think of literally one line of dialogue that you like and you don't have a story to put it into, write it down!!

thats a lot but tldr; write and be kind to yourself

Your writing (and the horror recs) made me wonder if you’ve ever read anything by Christina Henry? She’s one of my favorite authors and I just think her vibe might be something you’d like! She does dark fairytale retellings (they’re so creepy I love them) and her own original dark stories too.

I fear you have permanently altered my brain chemistry with headlocked in the best possible way.

I just spent the last three and a half hours binging it and I’m obsessed. It’s one of those fics that I’m going to be thinking about for years and will definitely read more than once.

You’ve captured their descent into codependency and their acceptance of what they craved even if it came in the most feral way possible so smoothly. It wasn’t a staggered or quick descent either, those three and a half weeks were portrayed so perfectly and realistically that I hadn’t even questioned if they’d been in there longer. It was so tactile and immersive and incredible.

And you managed to capture Spencer’s voice so perfectly for every situation they were in. I’m gushing a little but I am thoroughly obsessed with this fic.

This was my first time finding your work and I am so ready to dig into your other series next.

Just wanted to say that Headlock was just incredible, I loved how you described the way that reader and Spencer became so codependent after suffering such intense trauma. It’s refreshing to see in a fic that they don’t have a ‘happy ending’

Also, hyetto is brilliant too, I am obsessed with kinda perv Spencer. I’m quite literally itching for the next chapter.
