Your f/o loves you in every version of yourself!

They don't see your appearance as proof of your gender because they know that's not how gender works

You aren't "better" at being your gender with different presentations or traits You're still you

They don't love a performance, they don't love a checklist, they love the person who laughs too hard, gets excited over little things, has bad days, good days, and everything in between

If someone else tries to tell you you're doing your gender wrong, your f/o doesn't secretly agree

They'd be the first to remind you that there is no correct way to exist as yourself

They don't need you to earn your identity

They already know who you are and they love you as exactly that

Imagine gently stroking your F/O’s hair as they lean against you, their arms wrapped securely around your waist. You absent mindedly play with loose strands, your fingers gliding softly across their scalp, earning contented hums and the occasional tighter squeeze.
