During the World Cup 2014, Habitat Project presents a series of issues about the ways of living and housing in contemporary Brazil. The purpose is to narrate the everyday life, and how it's disrupted by paradoxes and tremendous inequalities, which are often the reason of the many incidents we learn from brazilian media. "A Short History of the Highrise" by Gerry Flahive won the 1st Prize in the Interactive Documentary section of the World Press Photo.
"A Short History of the Highrise’ is an interactive documentary that explores the 2,500-year global history of vertical living and the issue of social equality in an increasingly urbanized world. The centerpiece of the project is four short films. The interactive experience incorporates the films and, like a visual accordion, allows viewers to dig deeper into the project’s themes through additional archival materials, text and microgames."

"City of Darkness Revisited" is a Kickstarter crowdfounding campaign started by Greg Girard and Ian Lambot to finance a new edition of the book published in 1993.
The book is an extraordinary report about Kowloon Walled City, the most high-density district of Hong Kong, demolished in 1993.
