And with that we have reached the official end of Taryn's story! :D Thank you everyone for having enjoyed my silly little psyker and his shenanigans for almost 2 years! We started in august 2024, and have now reached the end in may of 2026! Two years of comics, writing, asks and more, this collaborative storytelling has been a blast! :D We are going to move on to the Wings of Dawn now, but don't worry, the Titan's Requiem will never be far, we will see everybody again! ;D

I hope you will be there for those stories as well! In the meantime, thank you so much, and don't worry... I'm not going anywhere! ;D

Also the Inquisitor would like to let you know that even if this might be a miracle from our God-Emperor, his soldier himself is NOT sacred or a saint. Hold your worship!

Twas the invocation of foul Warp Sorcery that has saved Taryn from his own foolishness, not the grace of Him on Terra.

Ye will know Him, when He appears to ye, and there shall be no question when His will is at work.

Until such a glorious day, we must be vigilant, and we must be patient.

Dinnae mistake the powers of a witch for the work of the divine. That is the first paved stone on many a path to ruin.

Totally random, I am certain...

That said, I shall set aside my humility a moment to assure you I have trained and been ordained to handle nearly all manner of ceremonies required by a man of the Adeptus Ministorum.

I am capable of officiating weddings, adoptions, divorces, disownments, house unions, elopements, rites of passage, coming of age, and numerous other practices.

Along, of course, with a few planetary variants there of.

Why ARE you banned from parties hearty?

While I am unsure if I should be at peace with such a jovial tone, it is befitting the inquiry.

I shall speak not of the particulars that I might spare my brethren in arms the embarrassment, but I shall say it was a delightful affair involving six fortnights of celebration, two Valkyries, the shoulder blade of a Saint (Who watched over our festivities, bless her) and three blessed tons of twice distilled amasec.

Truly a time to remember. For the sake of our souls, may there never be another like it.

So wait not a single person told you about the emperor being off his throne? Or did you already know as a man of the cloth??

You must take me for a wide eyed fool, if you think I would be roused to idiocy with so blatant a lie.

If such a thing were to come to pass, it would not happen in shadowed secrecy held from the Galaxy at large.

With the mere presence of Him, it would be felt by Navigators the Imperium over, Choruses of Martyrs would be shouting the news of his return across the stars, and perhaps, so much more if He had risen to take the helm of His Imperium once more.

We have already seen the outcome when the blind choose to take self proclaimed Heralds at their word. The lessons of the Age of Apostasy, and the Damned Vandire should not be so easily forgotten.

The day the Emperor walks amongst mankind again will truly be a glorious day, but it would be vain and heretical to make this proclamation on his behalf.

If the Emperor *does* return to us, and I am fortunate enough to see it in my own lifetime, I will know Him when I stand before Him, and behold all His glory with my own eyes.

Not a moment before, will I allow myself to fall to deception and hearsay.

I would suggest ye find steel in your heart, and do the same.

Imagine. You are a Custodes. You spot an Inquisitorial psyker actuvely cutting the endless line to the palace like she owns the place. And then she tells you that she is going inside to meet her beloved. You understand, from context clues, that she means your recently re-awakened, slightly unstable Emperor. No way this isn't some kind of pathetic Inquisitor's ploy to try to desperately send an assassin after the Emperor out of fear of losing their power, right?

Landing on Holy Terra! :D ....Wait. Is nobody going to watch Meliota?

Meliota is one of the Sisterhood, even if her path has taken her to alien stars. Her running amok is perhaps the last thing we should worry ourselves with.

Forgive me for my silence, I have found myself lost in the beauty of Mankind's cradle. Truly, Terra holds all the splendor she is awarded and beyond.

Even from kilometers away, the glow of the Imperial Palace is unmistakable against her gilded skies.

The very world seems to beat with the hearts of the honored and the faithful, though they be scattered across a million worlds and stand beneath alien stars, all of Mankind rose from the very stones we stand.

The same stones that would feel the first footfalls of the Emperor, who would lead this fragile worlds children to the stars and their destinies.

Truly, it is an awe inspiring sight.

I have no shame in admitted I have wept thrice at the glories around me.

Few are granted such an honor as to gaze upon sweet Terra from orbit, much less say they are blessed to walk up on her surface.

Truly, He is generous to his faithful.

As was spoken by the Saint Sabbat, to all who might yet come to this holiest of worlds;

Let the sky welcome you, for therein dwells the Emperor and his saints.

In light of the recent expansion of shifts in the munitions manufactorum to 18 hours a day:

Is it better to pray aloud, kneeling and making the sign of the aquilla in the crew quarters even when one fears they might fall asleep

Or

Is it better to pray less loudly while standing and at work?

I don't want commit the sin of falling asleep during prayer, but I also don't want to sin by failing to pay complete attention to my thoughts of Him on Terra.

Please, I need advice. I have nightmares about making a mistake and causing an explosion. I am so tired. I don't want to fail Him.

A most profound and relevant question. I thank ye for seeking my council in this matter, as there be few who might be able to answer correctly.

In the eyes of the Him on Terra, there are few sins as grave as dereliction of Duty. Pomp and ceremony, even that as humble as prayer, shall always be secondary in His eyes to the role you have to play.

The Emperor knows of your struggle, and bids you know that His forgiveness can be found.

Take the time to rest, He will understand.

Ensure that you take the time to complete your prayers, but He on Terra shall never fault you for eschewing ceremony in the name of Duty.

If ye find yourself in need of prayers and work hymns, please stop by the chapel. I have a few volumes on traditional hymns from Agriworlds and Great Foundries from all across the Galaxy.

Somebody finally tell the confessor or is he just forever left in the dark and abandoned by balphus?

I doubt Balphus would be THAT mad (and he still needs the gossip about how the exile is going) so surely Haertloch is still in function as Confessor/Infiltrated Tattletail For Balphus. :D We'd need confirmation from @lazywriter-artist and @techpirate1 on this one, those are their babies! :D I just doodle the lads. XD (Anyways Haertloch would not be the one to come crawling back to beg for Balphus to take him back, as much as Balphus would love that, soooo.... Free Confessor acquired. XD)

BALPHUS WOULD NEVER ABANDON HIS CONFESSOR— (least of all for March to have >:[ ) He’s just grumpy- his boyfriend or Jenkins would 100% give him a little speech about how he should reconsider and how his hammer has been a dutiful servant even still and the little bit of humanity Jenkins works his ass off to foster starts to hurt and I mean bal likes to gossip too much

Hammer gets a free trip to Terra as apology to maybe get a shot at a glimpse of the emperor

Haertloch is sadly a true man of the Ministorum which means he's too busy doing what he considers to be his job to worry about the politics of things.

He definitely would *not* be crawling back lmao or much of anything other than tending to the chapel until he's told otherwise.

If he goes to Terra, well, he's gonna flip. Current situation especially considered.

Haertloch is a man who figured the only way he'd ever see Terra was when he was finally called to the Wall of Martyrs.
