hiatus notice
Some of you may (or not) be wondering where I’ve been these past several days, but I came on tonight to go ahead and disclose why I’m gone so much. It’s not a sob story, don’t worry.
I’ve been working a lot more than usual, usually 6 days a week over the previous 1 day (that’s a hell of an improvement). That being said, I was given a lot more hours for the sake of getting more money, and said money is going into my stash for my move to California. I’m moving to California for both school and to leave Texas, just because I really need to leave. I love my parents but gosh darn is it hard to do much with them, so my grandparents offered me a place for a little bit. I’m moving in Mid-August, so hopefully by then, I’ll be free to come on as I please whenever I’m not in school.
But alas, the main reason WHY I’m tired so often to the point I have no energy to come on here is due to what I do: I work in the warehouse of this thrift store. No forklifts, everything’s moved by hand and cruddy dollies, and the fact there’s no A/C in the back AND it’s summer... Yeah, it’s not a fun time. I’m always moving around and I can’t sit down for anything (even if my knees are killing me) so by the end of my shift, I’m dying of heat and exhaustion. Some days are slow but most are just nonstop movement from donations and whatever’s still in the back. It’s why I’m exhausted so often and have no desire to get on here and write like I used to. If I did, it’d be very sloppy, and I don’t want to provide sloppy replies when I know I can give you great ones.
I’m sure Draken ( @fragilefated ) can vouch for how tired I am. I practically bitch to her about it every day lmao. But yeah! I’ll be here soon.
tl;dr I’m tired as hell a lot and I’ll be coming on to roleplay more once I no longer have to work here and get myself situated in California. I love you all, weeeee-
