i kept their hair and eye colour, and the one eye showing gimmick i used in a previous redesign. the jacket is wolf fur with elk leather, and the blanket is rabbit fur. they had a friend make the clothing for them but they prepared the materials themself. they trap and hunt, but trapping is their preferred method, hence the ult.
their wheel chair is a motor one and its made to withstand harsher weather. they had it custom built to suit their needs, since money isnt a problem for them.
i leaned more into neutral colours to complement the red and blue by their face, and draw attention to their eyes. i also gave them minor acne

i drew a lot of inspiration from my personal katsura design for bun. i love how bright colours look with buns pallet. i gave bun a snow jacket and snow boots as a nod to buns talent, and the stuffed animal keychain was a gift from one of buns friends.

i gave him dark hair with frosted tips to reflect his ethnicity, and scars because of his job. he has scars on his arms and stomach as well but you cant see them because of his clothes. i took inspiration from carpenters and loggers that i know in real life for his design largely, hence the Trades Mullet. i think the jacket was a christmas present from his brother that he wears constantly because of sentimental value

i gave her box braids because theyre way easier to keep out of your face and to show her personality. she no longer wears an eyepatch, but she used to when she was younger because of insecurity. i drew inspiration from one of her beta designs for the hoodie.
she has lots of scars on her arms, some on her legs and stomach. largely scuffs from doing stupid teenager things when she was younger, and self harm scars from a particularly hard time in her life.

akubi's design changed pretty dramatically because i honest to god hate their canon design they were done so poorly. i gave them braids in a spiral pattern to emulate clouds, a cloud earring, and comfortable yet formal clothes. i kept their outfit relatively bland to keep attention on their face. i used most of their canon colours, but added a gold/yellow accent to their pallet since it complemented everything else nicely

i probably had the hardest time with designing him. i used very little of his canonical pallet since he's no longer a clown so the bright colours didnt make sense. the idea was to make him look like a very kind and approachable person, while making it seem like theres something Off about him. i drew inspiration from childrens show hosts largely.

i struggled with his design pretty significantly. the idea was 'old man in a young mans body' which i think i did alright with. the pin is supposed to be birds wings underneath a grape vine, probably the logo of the organization he works with in archiving / history preserving. i decided to lean into the autism coding and give him a visually awkward stance and very neatly presented clothes.

i struggled with kaori a bit as well. i adore how her outfit is drawn but the colours took a lot of fussing to get right and im still not 100% sold on them. the bows are a reference to usagi, and her arm warmers are in reference to madoka. i also intentionally gave her very 'cute' looking eyes. deserved fully

i basically made his design how i THOUGHT he was supposed to be in canon. always assumed he was wearing a tanktop but apparently its an apron? whatever. i kept his hair and eye colour the same but i gave him brown roots so you can tell his hair is dyed. gave him a heavily faded tattoo sleeve to allude to his talent. and generally dressed him like your average line cook. he's primarily a tattoo artist, but has a history in cooking as well.

they also gave me a bit of trouble particularly in colour balancing. i knew i wanted to keep the red accent because thats one part i adore of their original design, and i knew i wanted to add purple into their pallet as a nod to homura (to match with kaori's madoka). i want them to look like the single most unlikely investigative journalist. their bag is for their camera and notebook.

i actually adore how her design came out. i leaned into her being african and gave her clothes that represent her home country and her pride in being cameroonian. her hair style is supposed to be reminiscent of a flower, and so are the patterns on her dress, to tie into her talent as a florist. i specifically designed her prosthetic to be more realistic albeit less fancy than kitsune's wheelchair, since shes not richy rich like they are. the flowers were hand painted onto the prosthetic by her herself. also her dress is pulled to the side so it doesnt interfere with the operation of her prosthetic (ie: the fabric being caught)

i actually adoreeee how her design turned out. i set out to actually make her a distinct character from akihiro and i think i did a good job of it. she wears slightly ratty messy clothes because of her job (she has the mindset that she'll wreck her clothes anyways so why bother), and her jeans have dried blood stains for similar reasons. she still greatly enjoys drawing and comic making, but shes nowhere near the amount of success that canon kawa has with it.

ishi - square fat body type. host of the drowned system instead of kimi. ultimate RN. hondurian
i gave him a more comfortable outfit instead of sticking him in (non sterile, mind you,) slacks, and gave him a hair style that i think represents him better. my version of ishi (and by extension the entire drowned sys) wears wigs to express himself and differentiate himself from the other alters. he has acne from wearing personal protective equipment at work, and a split eyebrow from a scar the body (kimi being the host at the time) got during childhood. he also opts not to cover his facial scar, unlike the canonical drowned system. kimi still uses a mask out of insecurity and fear that others will judge them for their scar though. the fanny pack was drawn on by kimi, hence the operator symbol. i'll draw the rest of the drowned sys at a later date so you can compare and contrast how different alters change styles and body language depending on whos fronting.
