First âI Love Youâ It had been six weeks since Ashley left for tour, and although you had agreed to take things slow, you felt as though you were going stir crazy without her around.  It had only been nine weeks since you had asked her to be your girlfriend, so you were missing out on so much of your âhoneymoon stageâ.  You desperately missed her and had decided to make her return special to show her just how happy you were to have her back. But your plans were completely thrown out the window when you got a text from her that only read âflight delayed by 6 hours, phone battery nearly dead. sorry babe :(â.  You threw your phone on the couch and picked up a pillow to bury your face in, sitting with your knees pulled up to your chest.  You willed yourself to be strong but ended up crying, so much effort had gone into preparing a great homecoming for Ashley and now it would all go to waste.  You cursed the crappy airline company as you made your way to the kitchen to open a bottle of red wine. â- âBabe?â a familiar voice coaxed you out of your sleep.  âHow much did you drink?â A familiar chuckle rang out as you opened your eyes to see Ashley kneeling next to the couch. âOh my god, Ash? What time is it?â You mumbled groggily, throwing the blanket off you.  You heard the clanging of wine bottles against the hardwood floor as they were knocked over by the blanket. âItâs only 8pm, babeâŠI was gonna come home early and surprise you,â Ashley said gently.  âIâm sorry, I shouldâve just told youâ âNo, no, itâs fine. Itâs more than fine. Iâm sorry,â You pull her into a close hug, planting a quick kiss on her lips. âYouâre home!â âAnd youâre drunk!â Ashley mimicked your tone, laughing. âSeriously, did you go through three bottles?â âI missed youâ You say, completely ignoring her question.  She stands up with a sigh and sits next to you on the couch, her eyes wide as they meet yours. âHow much did you miss me?â she gives a devilish smirk and despite your drunkness, you take the hint immediately, pressing your lips against hers.  You pull her close by the waist, feeling the heat of your body meet the chill of hers.  Head swimming with alcohol, you have no choice but to let her take control and push you down onto the couch.  She deepens the kiss, her breathing becoming rapid.  She was smooth where you were clumsy, graceful where you were far too intoxicated to keep up. âI love youâ the words tumbled out of your tipsy mouth before you could even think to stop them.  Neither of you had spoken those words yet, and if you hadnât of been so drunk you wouldâve panicked at letting the words fall out so carelessly. âI love you tooâ she replied quickly, locking you into a deep kiss again.  She said it with such conviction, so sure of her statement, that you couldnât help but smile against her lips.
