Hello everyone! M-my name is Hanako…Hanako Shimizu! I-it is very nice to meet you! I-I was told to share a little about me…so, um, here it is! I am a water nymph! I’ve been t-told by Otosan that my mother was a…cherry blossom nymph, and my f-father was a water demon, but I am still looking for them. I was raised by The Concord Sect in Ningenkai by my two fathers, Osamu and Daigo, with my siblings Rie and Takeshi. I live, work, and train at the Temple Concord with my family. My abilities are r-related to water, b-but I prefer to use them to h-help and heal others… I-If you have a q-question, I will be h-happy to answer! Thank you for reading!

The Story So Far:

Hanako appeared out of the blue in this universe, unsure of how she arrived and unsure of how she'll return. She's discovered that the two universes are nearly the same...except in this one, no one seems to know who she is. While she reintroduces herself to her friends and tries to find a way back home, she's coping with feeling quite out of place...and out of time. This blog is LGBTQIA2S+ positive, open to multi-ship and polyship scenarios, as well as OC friendly.

Support Mike McFarland (YYH fandom and not only)

You might know him as Master Roshi, Buggy the Clown, Jean Kirstein, Jean Havoc, or many others.

For the Yu Yu Hakusho fans, in the English dub, he voiced Komada (Kuwabara's friend), Butajiri, M3/Kai, Kazemaru, and Risho. YYH (which he worked on from 2002 to 2006) was likely the second anime he ever worked on as part of Funimation, after his work on DBZ.

Apart from voice acting, he was also an assistant ADR director for YYH, so he's likely helped craft some of the scenes and emotion in the dub that you love.

In January, he announced that he was suffering from a brain tumor, and a few days ago, industry friends who had been in charge of the fundraiser shared this.

No matter which series you enjoyed his work on, if you are able, please consider donating to the fundraiser his friends from the industry set up for him, or spreading the word. Personally, I am incredibly thankful to Mike for bringing life and so much personality to a character who is extremely dear to me. And I know others feel the same. Fundraiser and more details:

We need more self indulgent yyh stuff. Who cares if your OC is a "Mary sue" we are on a rock floating through space and hiei can summon a dragon from hell and kurama got gut shanked at least 3 to 4 times AND still lives. YOU GOT THE POWER!! DO WHAT MAKES U HAPPy!!

For example I don't even make ocs anymore. Its just straight self shipping at this point. I don't want to be on this earth un trumps economy. Let's go fight some evil spirits bro!!

Even if it’s just me myself and I, I have my little OC Hanako and she’ll give Jin all the kisses he’s willing to take. The earth is burning and during the day I try to do my part but at the end of it, it’s nice to just relax with some good and warm OC things and create a couple whose problems are so vastly different from my own and yet so similar, but because I am the goddess of this world I can solve them, they can be solved.

And, yeah, I know my OC is cringe and people are probably tired of hearing me talk about her, or talk about Jin… why not Yusuke, or Kurama, or Hiei, or Kuwabara?

Plenty of people already talk about and love these characters. There’s like…three people who truly love Jin (not the real number, this is an exaggeration of course). So, if I’m going to see him on my timeline, I’ve got to put him there myself. If I’m going to see him in RPs or fanart or discussions, I’ve got to be willing to put him there myself. Because there’s no guarantee that anyone else will care enough to do it. For the people that do, thank you and bless you.

And heaven knows I’m the only one I can expect to like this weird little OC I made. But Hanako makes me happy. She can heal people, mind, body, and soul, over the course of many years. She can create a community and have children and make everyone’s lives better with her powers and just by being herself and choosing kindness and love. These are the things I want to manifest. Kindness in a cruel world. Unbelievable, unwavering kindness and love.
