Thinking for a moment, the brunette gave a small nod in thought. “I guess. I think if I keep telling myself the engagements aren’t romantic that I would feel better about being single. Not that I want a boyfriend, but it gets lonely at times.” Cami really didn’t want to date, but there was a time she liked having someone that cared about her in that sense. Now, she was just a cynic. “Oh my god, that’s so cute. I love kids. They are just so pure. They also say it straight as it is, which isn’t good if you have a bad hair day, but that’s beside the point.” Hazel eyes moved back to Hana as she gave a small nod. “I know. Still sucks at times though when that happens. I mean, I bounced four homes till I was adopted and I hated bouncing homes, so I try my hardest to make sure that doesn’t happen, you know?”

“You can I could have a gal pal date, if you’d like. Have that platonic romance going so I can prove it exists and you don’t have to feel so jaded.” She proposed before giving the woman a swarm hug she practically specialized in. Offering a sense of comfort for Cami’s bumpier childhood. “You might’ve hated it, but that leas you to the family who loved and adored you. It all turns out how it’s supposed to be. Just look at your life, now~.”

“No... I can’t say I did hear about that...” The slight crinkle of her features wasn’t from judgment, but more so trying to put herself into such a scenario which felt off to her. “You’re probably right, but until then, it’s all up in the air.”

“Fairy/mermaid ethereal? Wow. I think that’s the best compliment anyone has ever given me,” she said, blushing. “Maybe that’s it. I haven’t exactly been actively looking for suitors over the past few years either.” Nicolette pursed her lips in thought. She couldn’t think of the last time she’d actually consumed a go-gurt or if she’d even enjoyed it. maybe high school with some kind of cafeteria lunch? “I think strawberry is the most trustworthy flavor when it comes to kids’ yogurt. Maybe banana too.”

“It’s the vibe you give off, I promise.” Her smile softened as a nod had her pushing back long locks off her face. “Boyfriends-- Really, relationships in general can be a lot. Worth it, though for the rght person. Don’t you think?” As unlucky and dry as her love life had been these past years, the woman always harbored some romantic hope. “True and when you pair them together? There’s a reason they sell so well~. Though, if you ask me, I’m kind of partial to their blueberries. If we’re talking purely Go-gurt related. Regular yogurt, I’m a sucker for the seasonal flavors with various fruits and granola. It’s the perfect breakfast or snack.”

“Oh, well, that’s not so bad then. If you were about to tell me you were a stripper or something and you had people proposing, I’d be thinking I’d need to know where you work so I can get a look at the action firsthand.” Stella let out a dry laugh. “I hope you didn’t break the kindergartener’s heart.”

Her instincts had her wanting to hide under her shy state. Hana a stripper?! It sounded mortifying. “Oh, no, no, no, no~-- No, I-- I’m not saying that’s bad to be a dancer like that, but--” Her head shook and face warmed further in a deep flush. “I can carry a tune but my body can’t. When I dance I look like a fish on dry land. It’s best I stick to teaching, I promise.” An awkward melodic twinkling giggle came past her lips. “I don’t think I did? I told them if they were still interested after high school to come find me.”

“I kind of miss her not knowing how to walk”, Declan said, sitting on a park bench. Maeve was with the nanny most of the time, so of course when he had the day off work, he took her to the park himself. He had taken a lot time off in the summer, but now that Daisy was back in school and routines were back, he went back to work and Maeve was with the nanny most of the time. He sat on the park bench and watched her run around and it was kind of… sentimental. She was only two, but she was also already two. Time flew. “Daddy’s old and tired, I can’t keep up anymore.” (( @hanaxbae​ ))

Hana currently had a toddler of her own on her lap. The little boy getting his face wiped off of the messy snack he’d had, when a man joined them. Her eyes moved to where his gaze was stuck and she smiled warmly while shifting the boy in place. Currently finishing preparing him to go play now. “When they walk, you can do o much more with them, though. I suggest a fun ‘race’ or trying a chalk obstacle course together.” She then turned her head to look at the man’s profile more closely. Her smile remained even if her brows rose in a curious manner. “You don’t look very old... Most parents seem to base their age more on their kids, I think. They could be twenty-five with a three year old and see themselves as ancient. It’s because they sprout up so fast. That’s just my theory, anyways.” She offered a small breath of a laugh and shrug of her shoulder.

“Oh, that would be my dream. Now if only I could sing like her. But I do not have a singing voice. I could kill the cats with that,” she joked. “Oh, you’re seriously making me want to do this. Maybe I should have just decided to be Ariel instead of going to med school.”

Hana thought for a brief moment until she had it. Her hand shooed away that problem of any lack of real singing talent from the redhead. “That’s what the soundtrack is for, right? I don’t think they’d mind. Or, you could even say the sea witch stole your singing voice! They’d love to hear such stories.”

“A lilac and lavender mix is always my go to. It smells to fresh without being overwhelming. It’s perfect if you want your place to smell both clean and relaxing.”

“Does, ‘Earth’ count as an answer? Oh, geeze... Uhm... As an entirety, I’d love to go all over Europe. I recently saw this sort of documentary guide on a lot of the different places so it’s currently a dream place to just bop all around over.”

Caramel Macchiato : You’re travelling the entire world but you can only take one person with you. Who do you take?

“This is so difficult! My mom is like my best friend, but so is my literal best friend, Cami. Can I choose both? Maybe taking them to different places they both really want to go to most so I can give them that great gift. Enjoying their reactions more than anything would truly make it so special.”

“Yes please. I feel like little kid proposals are always much more romantic than what you see for adults. Or maybe I just haven’t found a decent enough guy to think that an adult proposal would be cute,” the brunette thought for a moment, giving a soft shrug. “I wish. This past week has just been like a full moon type situation. I only had one call from the schools, but I had to switch a kid to a different home because of the foster parents and it was just so frustrating. Obviously, I knew I needed to do it, but I’m that person who feels like if I mess something small up, it’s a big deal, you know? And I felt like I didn’t match the kid to the right family,” she pushed her lips to the side. She really didn’t talk about her job much, but Hana was able to understand a little. She worked with kids and knew how it can be at times.

“I don’t know, there’s some pretty cute proposal stories out there.” Hana mildly contradicted as she shifted in her seat. Making sure she was comfortable before getting into the little tale. “Well, I decided to sing a few songs for the kids for our wind down time and sleepy Jake comes over asking for a hug. I let him in my lap and continued and when I stopped he yawned and said ‘Miss Bae, will you marry me? Mommy says you should marry the person that makes your heart feel like it’s warm in a sweater. Your singing made my hear go in a sweater, so...’ Then he yawned again.” Her cheeks were blushing again from the sweet sincerity of it all. “I about died.” Teeth bit over her lip to keep her smile subdued a bit before it fadedminorly with the news of Cami’s recent work. “Aw, don’t beat yourself up... What’s important is, now you know they weren’t the right fit and you keep trying and helping that kid, yes?”

“Well, it’s usually a yes, no or maybe question.” Jamie leaned against the counter now as he waited for his lunch during his break. “What was it?”

“It was a, ‘If you still feel that way in fifteen or twenty years, come find me.’“ She shook her head in an amused smile. “By then, I highly doubt they’ll remember or even go through the effort.”

“Oh, okay, good!” Nicolette laughed. “Oh trust me, I don’t attract love at first site energy either. I’ve been single for five years now,” Nicolette admitted, though a blush crept to her cheeks when she thought about the man she was falling so hard for now. “Oh my god, that sounds like a keeper. What flavor go-gurt though? That’s pretty important.”

“But, you have this whole fairy/mermaid ethereal type of look going on. Like you could charm anyone into it. Maybe you just wanted to keep your suitors at bay unknowingly?” She chuckled and tucked some hair behind her ear. “I’m not sure... Go-gurts was just thrown in there so I assume any kind I want. Variety is always nice, so I take that as a plus. How about your preference? Strawberry?” She guessed without much to really go off of her lighthearted assumption.

tulip: daydreams a lot, has a cute fashion style, often forgets things, the smell of fresh baked cookies, can be very touchy, soft features, is good at keeping secrets, smiles a lot, truly wants the best for their friends, deep down insecure

rose: in love with femme fatale movies, eye-gazing, dark lipstick, doesn’t want people to know they’re emotional, has a weak spot for animals, most likely writes poetry, very understanding, never judges people, dancing to music at 2am

orchid: the “i don’t give a fuck” vibe surrounds them, likes to draw a lot, reads fantasy to escape reality, messy hair, can be clumsy, stands for what’s right, most likely an activist or tries to be, fantasies over a zombie apocalypse, cats

“Marriage.” The woman giggled out further. “They promised they’ll become the biggest ballerina astronaut and take care of me with elephants and pools.” Thinking over the adorably random moment made her giddy all over again from the sheer cute factor.

“That is so adorable,” Lyra replied, grinning softly at the idea of it. Kids were too precious. She’d always wanted a younger sibling but perhaps that was more of a comment on her relationship with her older brother than her fondness of children. “I don’t imagine it’s always easy teaching kids but moments like that must warm your heart.“

“Oh, no doubt it has it’s challenges. My first year of student teaching-- Actually, my first day,” she recalled more clearly. “I had a kid throw up on me and another screamed after naptime. As sweet as they are, they can have their moments of outburst. Though, I think they’re easier to handle than high school age or something. Something about teenagers are so intimidating.” The woman admitted in a breathy laugh.

“Proposal? What is it that you do exactly?” Stella asked, an eyebrow raised. “I can’t even begin to tell you the ideas that I’m getting, so I think it’s better you just tell me before my imagination really starts running wild.”

Hana couldn’t help the laughter that came along with a deep flush of red under any such assumptions, even if they were unspoken. “I’m a kindergarten teacher, I swear!” Her hand came up to wave away any other dirty things lingering. “It was a student of mine just being sweetly innocent. Nothing bad or... Like that.”
