How to let him go:
1. Block him. It might sound dumb and ridiciolous but you can’t let him go, if you’re still waiting for his name to pop up in your messages, if you’re still waiting for him to call you. Block him, delete him, unfollow him, unfriend him. It helps.
2. Delete every song that reminds you of him. Every single quote and every single picture. It might be hard as fuck, but it’s okay.
3. Stop being nice to him. Stop saying hi to him on the streets, stop smiling at him in the grocery store. It’s okay to be rude if he hurt you.
4. Stop looking for him in a crowded place. Stop looking for him in every other boy, stop looking for him at the mall, stop looking for him in a museum, stop looking for him in the night sky.
5. Cry. Cry to your dog, cry to your mom, cry to your best friend, cry to the nice guy , you just met, cry to your pillow Cry until you have no more tears, cry until your eyes become red. But make sure you’ll never cry to him, ever again.
6. Don’t give any other chances. If he calls you at 3 a.m., drunk from a friends phone and tells you that he loves you and he is sorry, throw your phone away. Tell him to go fuck himself. Tell him no. You have to learn to tell him no.
7. God, please, give that other boy a chance. That boy who always stares at you in class, who always says hi to you, who is always nice, who always asks how you are doing.
