♚ 𝓐 brisk breeze washed by as long legs trudged through the high fields of the island. The world seemed settled, almost comfortable for the moment as he basked in whatever sunlight broke through the cracks of the cloudy sky. Rain beckoned at the skies with soft rumbles and drums of thunder that echoed through the silence. The evident crunch of leaves beneath his stark brogues. Other than the resonance of the firmament, the tall man took it all in as it was indeed divergent from what he’s seem within the closed off walls of the throne room.

♚ 𝓖loved hands reached up from pockets, one which adjusted the tie along his collar and the other flicking the ash from his cigar. Inhaling a long puff from the cancer stick, he huffed comically at his internal commentating. So little kept him entertained, but there was so much to keep vital within the island. Survivors to kill off, and creations to start anew. Resting the cigar between his lips once again, the king continued forth, feeling the premature storm front approaching.

♚ 𝓣unes of a gramophone permeated the air. A sound easily dreaded, among other things. The man who sat amidst the ever large corridor. The throne room all too large, even though he himself was bound to such emptiness. The place reeked of white noise, but on its better days he’d have a visitor or so. The company of the void all too unreserved that it became a norm, no matter how long it’s been. Although his projections could reach beyond his typical four walls, he knew this place too well. His vision emanated into the world of his own, watching the little survivors rush and perish under the trials or today and tomorrow. An everlasting cycle of life and death that never ceases. Oh, what a lovely game it was. Much like a classic form of entertainment. Always climatic, although easily foreseeable. Some just weren’t suited for survival endeavors.

♚ 𝓣he shadow man clicked his sharp fingertips along the arm rest of his throne. The tapping vaguely echoing through the expanse. He felt offset. Narrow eyes blinking as he peered off into the distance as the fire licked at the colonnettes that were aligned at the perimeter of the throne room. Something didn’t sit right with the king.
