I’m never normally hit too hard by celebrity deaths, but this one has hit like a freight train. Your music has always spoken to me no matter what mood I’ve been in. I found you when I was in my teens and I would rock out to you like there was no end. It was only the beginning of this year I found my love for you again and immediately incorporated you into all of my playlists that I jam to on my journeys. You will always be the artist I get immediately excited about when I’m in the middle of a club drunk off my face.. I just have to grab my friends to dance to your songs. That’s never going to change, but for now I think I’ll sigh with a heavy heart when I next listen to your voice again. Despite your amazing talent you always seemed like such a genuine down to earth guy that cared so much about your fans. I’m a fond believer that you can only fix yourself - and it goes to show as this guy had an amazing career, supportive friends and a loving family but it didn’t fill the hole that he was struggling with for so many years. People who deem committing suicide as a cowardly act are the ones who are cowards themselves. It takes so much courage and bravery to want to end your life - and I believe that Chester was a fighter. You’re always going to be a hero in my eyes, nothing could possibly change that. If it wasn’t for discovering your music I probably wouldn’t have been able to push myself through some of the toughest days I’ve had. Thanks for the memories ❤️
