"Yeah you! And I know they say that is what they’re for but I’m still convinced if we go into them we’ll end up on a space ship."
"If I wake up in Mars, I'm blaming you then. I'm more convinced they're just really cramped, but I do wonder if we can steal one as a souvenir..."
"Hey, you! Come on I want to go check out those human pod tent things."
"Me? Well, I'm pretty sure those were mostly set up for sex, you know. But if you insist."
We should have a girls night this week and watch it together. Oh I’m sure it appeals to them, there’s got to be a few people in here that are just eating that outfit up. Great, I’ll let you know before hand if I have an outfit they go with.
Absolutely! Just pick a room and it's a date. The beauty of living in the same building. Oh, who knows. I did it for myself mostly, but if someone else gets a kick out of it it's not so bad, right? Sounds perfect.
Oh St. Trinians, such a guilty pleasure movie, but thank you Hannah! You look lovely as well. I like your stockings. I might actually ask to borrow those in the future.
Such a fun movie. So many awesome ladies. Aww, thank you! I was hoping to appeal to the anime lovers out there, apparently. Haha, as long as they're not dirty and I'm not wearing them, you can borrow them whenever you want.
Yes, something like that. Really? Oh, but the transitions are so lovely, when you catch the leaves changing or regrowing, especially when the frost begins to melt. Did it snow in Manhattan? I remember visiting when I was younger, but I’m not sure. It must have been such fun, growing up within the city.
Oh, fall when it's just right is beautiful. Like when you're finally in it and everything is just right. Crisp and fresh and everything smells like pumpkins. Yeah, of course it does! We're not that far away from New York City, you know, and it snows here. Yeah, it can be fun. But I always welcomed any trip somewhere a little more rural after a while.
Goodness, I feel like I just woke up in some boy’s dirty schoolgirl fantasy.
You look good though! Like you just stepped off the set of St. Trinians.
Hey! Nowhere to go but up. Or at least that’s what I’m hoping.
Exactly. And when you think about it like that, it's all the easier to imagine a brighter future.
Oh, no, I agree with you, it has definite benefits. I appreciate mid-weather best though, it’s literally a breath of fresh air for me. Whenever it rains, I get a little nostalgic. Surely there must be something that makes you feel that way too?
Like mid-season weather? I always manage to get a cold during those times. Especially between winter and spring. I love the rain, but especially thunderstorms. Nostalgic for where I'm from? Gee, the sound of taxi's always makes me miss Manhattan. So romantic.
One desk, One Bottle | Elliot & Hannah
TAGGED: Hannah Montomery and elliot-pietersz
TIME FRAME: During the party, during the wee hours of the morning/night.
LOCATION: Desks out in the woods
GENERAL NOTES: *chachas*
She wasn't drunk, not yet. Many people looked at Hannah Montgomery, and assumed that she was a straight edge, or that she would always conduct herself as a lady. And she did, for the most part. Hannah was all about keeping up appearances, but she was also about being herself, and a deep part of herself wanted to have fun now that she could properly have it. There was no more worrying about how she looked like, (even if she fussed about it) there was no more hiding herself away. She was Hannah, and Hannah was going to have fun. Which was why she'd gone all out on her costume. It wasn't as conservative as it could be, but it wasn't as scandalous as many other school girl outfits came. Just a cropped sailor top and a pleated skirt, with mary jane heels and knee high socks, her hair done in low pig tails. She'd contemplated some of the more out there ones, laughing at the prospect of it. They reminded her of the lingerie she had, the ones she kept for herself to make herself feel good. But part of the allure of that was that that was personal, it was private. What fun was there in being on display that much? Each to their own, but it wasn't for Hannah. Not at this moment of her life. But she was having fun, which was the point. And she wasn't that drunk. No, she had a bottle of vodka in her hand, and was making her way from the pool to what she thought were the tents. Someone was bound to be around, and she was bound to run into someone she knew. After all, Ellsworth boys and Hannah Montgomery seemed to go together like bread and butter. They always had, though. Ever since the first time she'd been here at Heathfield, a life time ago as someone else, she'd found herself gravitating towards that dorm. She felt at home there, far from the judging eyes of Blackbourne and the power of Arkwright. Her heels were tracking dirt, and she sighed softly, making a note to clean them when she was sober. Or when everything wasn't so pleasantly hazy. She was humming softly under her breath the song that was playing in the background, and didn't take a swig from the bottle as she walked, but instead used it as a prop to sing into every once in a while. It was a sight, but the cover of forest around her meant it was barely visible in the dim light of the party behind her and in front of her. She used the backlight of her phone to watch her step, doing her best not to trip even on wobbly, tipsy legs. The grounds cleared though, and what she saw was a field of desks. Some where in perfect rows, some where against trees or on the ground. It was a bizarre sight, but not if you remembered the theme of the party. And what a party it was. But of course it was wild; it was Elliot's. The thought made her laugh, until she saw a group of people over by one of the desks. They moved away though, one of them beckoning the other to come with, but they stayed behind. A sole person leaning against a desk. It took her getting closer for her to realize who it was, and that made her laugh more. With a smile, she said, her voice just a little bit louder than usual as she came up behind him, her hand on his shoulder as she spoke, "I thought you'd be impossible to find!" Her hand moved from his shoulder to his upper arm as she made her way over to the front of the desk. Hannah smile as she hummed out, putting the bottle on the desk in front of them, before she leaned against that desk as she looked at him, still grinning softly, "After all, you are the man of the hour, Elliot."

Oops I Did It Again Edition
Terrorizing the freshmen already? God, Hannah, you’re a menace. That said, I can’t deny my agreeing. I’m ready to be done with it, more or less. High school gets kinda boring after a while.
To be fair, he butted his head into the conversation. It was completely his fault. I know right? I gotta stop or I'll get a reputation. Well, I just started college. For all I know, it's just as bad and I'll be that poor freshman all over again.
There is a considerable lack of tact in the way the students go about themselves here. There is however couth in most aspects but it’s constantly flooded in arrogance— I myself included. As much as Heathfield is a wonderful experience it’s toxic just the same.
I think you just about summed it pretty well. I guess the best we can do is hope we don't fall too deeply into the most toxic parts, and then spend the rest of our lives detoxing. Though it's hard seeing as we'll probably be business partners with half of the people here.
I suppose it’s different for everyone. For example those that are from more temperate climates can tolerate the cold less than some; Myself for example. The stereotype of London rain is pretty accurate.
But the cold can be so lovely. Even if I can't sail when it's cold, I still appreciate fall weather. I mean, and it's nothing a good coat can't help you with. Are you that bad for it?
I might have to coin that.
Oh yes, they’re absolutely divine. I’m pretty sure all their designer sunglasses are rose-tinted. If they took them off for just a moment they’d see some pretty startling things about not just others, but themselves even.
I'll collect the royalties on it someday.
The day I see genuine self exploration in some of the kids at Heathfield, is the day pigs grow wings. But then again, I've seen some transformative moments, so maybe it's not so out there. But who are we to talk, you know?
