The stranger came on a Tuesday afternoon, approximately four o’clock, right before dusk. He gave no name, only asked to be called “the Doctor”. He was a weird looking fella, with too-sharp features and deep, near red eyes that always seemed to stare right through you if you talked to him. His mouth always looked raw, as though he spent too much time gnawing at his lips, but no one could ever catch the gnawing in action.
Yeah, that Doctor was definitely odd.
