I think worst for me was after the accident at the cup of china…. but that was also my worst performance ever. Sadly my asthma gets worse with the flu, so I can hardly breathe…. I do hope they will still let me to to the Worlds （ ; ; ） You can do it! I’ll be cheering you on from behind the TV… ~ Go land that triple!

Yuzuru Hanyu (ANA) will withdraw from the Figure Skating Japanese Nationals competition, scheduled to begin on the 22nd in Osaka. The Japanese Skating Federation announced his withdrawal on the 21st. Hanyu has previously won Nationals for four consecutive years, and was the favorite for the gold this year as well. The Japanese Nationals competition serves as a qualifying competition for the World Championships (Helsinki) and rules state that skaters must compete in Nationals in order to qualify for Worlds. However, according to the JSF, if there is an “inevitable reason” for withdrawing, the federation may consider allowing the skater to compete in international competitions.

Japanese figure skater 羽生結弦   Yuzuru Hanyu reduced to an anime character by some disrespectful fans.

If you are into figure skating because of anime Yuri on Ice is great ! we all can learn from tv shows.

But objetivizing and reducing real people as anime characters is not ok.

Yuzuru Hanyu is a real person, don’t reduce his value and worth as a human being and his effort as athlete.
