Headcanons ~ They're a vampire
Anon, I hope I did you justice! I AM SO SORRY I HAVE BEEN ON HIATUS FOR FOREVER. I've had a lot going on with college, and there was a bunch of family issues but I am very pleased to be back :)
I am quite bad at steamy stuff so I implied it but I tried my best 😂
There's lots of versions of vampires, so I did some research in a bunch of fandoms, read a few fanfics and the classic vampire traits in all of them seem to be:
Drinks small amounts of animal blood, aren't killed by sunlight but are less powerful during the day, heightened senses, immortality unless a stake is driven through their heart, cold to the touch.
-Diego most likely got turned into a vampire whilst protecting an innocent civilian from criminals at night.
-Picture it, night time and Diego's in a dark alley, defending a lone woman from a group of street thugs.
-After knocking them out in his typical Diego fashion, and making sure the woman safely gets into her apartment building just opposite the alley, he begins his walk home.
-What he hadn't anticipated was for one the thugs to regain consciousness and sneak up behind him, quickly injecting his fangs into Diego's neck.
-It happened so suddenly, even The Kraken's reflexes were no match for what he now realized was a creature he had only thought of as a myth Reginald made up to scare them.
-He had passed out in that same alleyway, and when you finally managed to locate and wake him up in the late hours of the night, you were both crying as he narrated what happened.
-It was difficult at first, but with the love, acceptance and support from both you and his family, he adjusted very easily.
-His diet continued as normal, but every once in a while, the blood of any animal would have to be acquired so Diego could sustain himself. Unfortunately, at times like this, nothing beat fresh human blood so sometimes Diego would feed on his nightly patrols.
-Speaking of which, nightly patrols were most definitely still a thing. In fact, it tended to be the only time he left your shared apartment.
-Although the sun didn't actually harm him, he'd always been more of an indoor person and often convinced you to stay in with him so you two could have some fun, if you catch my meaning ;)
-Those fangs definitely did some things to you.
-Perhaps there would come a time where you allow him to turn you into a vampire as well. With you having enhanced powers too now, you can safely accompany him on his patrols at night!
-Overall, life with Vampire Diego isn't much different from what it used to be. If anything, the changes are perks and the two of you are always discovering new things.
-I definitely picture Klaus getting turned at a rave, or maybe some sketchy bar.
-After a particularly rough day, despite your protests (and Ben's, sorry peeps, can never shake the ghost boy) he had a few too many to drink.
-Somewhere in the crowd of people, you lose him, frantically checking for him everywhere and it's during your period of panic that it happens.
-He never discovered who it was or where they came from but the next thing Klaus feels over the thrum of loud music vibrating through his body is the sensation of something sharp poking at his neck. He passed out.
-That's how you found him, on the floor of the bar almost trampled by the energetic, unconcerned druggies. You shook him awake and took him home, demanding he tell you everything. There honestly wasn't much he remembered to tell.
-The both of you only really discovered what had happened after you noticed physical changes in Klaus. His skin didn't have the same flush to it, and some of his teeth began to appear sharper and more prominent. He'd even lost his appetite (is that the word?) for his usual drugs which was a good thing but the other changes concerned you nonetheless.
-You took him to Pogo and Grace, not trusting anyone outside the family. Upon conducting some tests they confirmed what you were starting to suspect: Klaus was a vampire now.
-And the first thing he did when he found out was jump up and run around the mansion, excitedly announcing it to all his siblings who thought he was high again. They believed him after seeing the test results though.
-It was a surprisingly easy transition. Klaus was curious and so were you, so the two of you read up on all the limited resources you could find. Even though they majorly appeared to be works of fiction.
-One of the most positive things to come out of it, was that for the first time in a while, Klaus could actively controlling his cravings for drugs.
-As far as diet was concerned, he ate a lot more healthily. He hesitated in taking animal or human blood but there were times you noticed him looking weaker than usual and gently managed to coax him into drinking yours.
-.... Which actually lead to some really kinky things I won't write fOR tHe cHIldReN bloodplay
-I picture him being hesitant to turn you because despite how he initially seems, he's a total softie and doesn't want to hurt you. He will with a little persuasion though.
-Life with Klaus as a vampire is definitely interesting, but in a good way. Some adjustments and routine changing definitely was a part of it, but any sacrifices were worth it to help Klaus out.
-I would like to alter that Griddy's donut shop scene where Five is fighting the commission people, because it is the perfect way for him to get turned.
-He snaps a guys neck and gets up, turning around, not imagining for a second that the man isn't actually dead.
-So of course the guy whose neck "got snapped" rises so silently and stealthily and immediately follows Five out of the donut shop, waiting until they're in a dark place to bite him.
-Five can't see who bit him in the dark, and he begins feeling light headed and nauseous almost instantly. He's too weak to act and so he faints.
-Meanwhile, you are panicking because Five is being Five and is nowhere to be found. You recruit Klaus (more like beg him) to help you find the boy.
-You don't find him. He wakes up himself to come home to you, where you cried all night. You're understandably angry but it turns to instant worry when Five tells you he isn't feeling so good.
-You beg him to go see his family when the unusual physical traits begin to show, but he uses his own detective work to find out exactly what happened.
-And what happened was that the commission had a new asset; a vampire that was sent to turn number 5 in the hopes of making him an easier enemy by confusing him with the new physical changes.
-With your support, Five easily overcame the change. Nothing phases him so it was a bad idea on the handler's part anyway. He would rather not be a vampire but what has been done has been done.
-Diet continued revolving around donuts and coffee with the occasional blood of whatever poor soul the handler sent to torment him.
-no steamy stuff for mr five he is a child, sorry kiddos
-He would probably propose the idea of turning you, wanting you both to stay young forever (literally) and although at first you might hesitate, you eventually agree. You can beat commission baddies together for eternity 🥲
-Life with vampire Five comes with it's advantages and disadvantages. You shudder seeing pointy wooden fences, but at least it'll take the commission a lot more effort to kill who you love.
-He's a very indoor person so I doubt he'd get turned anywhere outside. It's hard to think from who he'd get turned other than... you!
-You'd be the initial vampire s/o and Ben literally begs you to turn him too. He says he's ready for it, and that he wants this. So you turn him.
-He feels odd upon waking up, but is instantly greeted by you. You wrap him in a warm embrace which he happily reciprocates as all the memories flood back.
-He's a total nerd. Very happy to be a vampire. It's hilarious seeing him geek out, and his childlike curiosity is adorable.
-"Y/N, does this mean I never have to go out into the sunlight ever again?" "No Ben." "Awww."
-He frequently forgets to look after himself because he's so caught up being fascinated with the new person he's become. Luckily, you're there to take care of him and remind him of all his meals which continue the same way they did when he was human, except with a little extra nutrition because he tends to get easily tired.
-He absolutely refuses human blood. His past has exposed him enough to that kind of thing and you don't force him. Anytime he requires it, he prefers to mix the blood of some other animal in his food or drinks.
-The fact that you're both vampires now has certainly led to some... new discoveries. Being a vampire certainly has upsides, you stay up all night and get worn out, although it's not through the lack of sleep ;)
-Vampire couple activities!! Watching movies like Hotel Transylvania and Twilight alongside reading Dracula and the Vampire diaries together just so you can make fun of any inaccuracies.
-Life with Vampire Ben is very smooth, in fact, sometimes you forget that life now is different from when he was still a vampire. Of course with some shiny new perks, such as your everlasting life coming to match your everlasting love. No ghosts in this chili's tonight.
