"Finally"
"I don't know if I'm ready--"
".... graduation---"
"Hm? I almost didn't see you down there, little mouse." Damn heroes always have to find a way to get in the middle of his fun. At least she had a mouth on her. Trying to have a conversation with those holier-than-thou types was like dining on drywall. "You just cost me a body count."
He didn't know this one's name. Student maybe? If they were a pro, they were a nobody. No need to consider retreat then. But what about that quirk? That might end up being a real pain. Well, for now...
Heat pooled around his hand igniting into a brilliant dragon of fire rushing straight for the hero with every intention to kill.
"Little mouse? You get all your creepy epithets from kids movies?" She bristles, talking herself out of the nerves, putting that throbbing heart out of the back of her throat for more than a moment. The deep resonating hum of her speaker at the back of her hip lets those constructed armors glow all the brighter, more coming to form around her fists.
But she doesn't get a lot of time to get comfortable with the idea of fighting a real villain before he's setting forth a burning ember-- And the dragon's flame finds its match when the speakers sound echoes louder and the heat pours outward against an overbearing violet shield.
The pressure was on already, and she didn't have a game plan. She's already quietly swearing to herself, sweat staining her brow. Willing into being quick rods of light outward in his direction as a return fire of offense. Though with the distance between the two of them, they'd not get much farther than past him before they dissipated.
@inkaten
The heat was intense. That's the first thing that comes to her mind, even through the protective hum of her hard light constructs. Heart pounded like mad in her chest, made it almost feel like she couldn't breathe. A real proper bad guy, huh? She didn't need any witty repartee or anything to tell her that. Fists tighten, and she swallows the lump out of her throat.
"So is that foul smell you?
urge to be big villain of some kind too
Trust me, I’m no lightweight.

hardlighthero:
his her costume is also made of hard light
which means she can fly, and has enhanced durability and strength because of the nature of his her constructs
she achieves this through a small high frequency speaker he carries on his her person at all times.
If the speaker is damaged she has to rely on ambient noise or sounds his her enemy makes, since he can’t make light constructs out of sounds made by his her body.
this is an important distinction to make– In that her hero uniform is literally made of sound and light not cloth
hardlighthero:
The durability and heat (energy output) of his constructs is largely dependent on their make and color. Hard light constructs on the whole don’t exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37 C) due to the stability of their photons not causing wild reactions with the air around them to produce insane heats on the surfaces they come in contact with. They are virtually weightless, and can take any form he wills them to.
Lasers produce no heat on their own, but do heat up the surfaces they come in contact with, and ranged temperatures largely rely on the color of what he produces– Which in turn is dependent on the decibel level of what he pulls from.
Anything produced at lower than 59 decibels are red at low levels, and green at higher levels, the maxed out temperature for these structures is about 110 degrees F (43 C), really only hot enough to cause first degree burns, and the strength can be compared lesser metals.
60 decibels (normal conversation volume) produces cooler temperatures from beams, ranging from 600-900 Fahrenheit (315-482 C). The durability of these constructs can be likened to steel. These constructs and beams are blue/violet, and are often the ones he produces the most.
90 decibels (let’s say a lawnmower’s typical volume, also 1,000 times stronger an output of sound than 60 decibels) These beams are anywhere from 1,000 to 3,500 degrees Fahrenheit (537-1926 C). These are yellow, and are typically only shakily stable, these constructs are usually about as strong as titanium.
110 decibels (10,000 times stronger than the last measurement, equivalent to a loud rock concert or a car horn) Tops out at about 4,500 degrees Fahrenheit (2482 C), which is about very nearly half as hot as the surface of the sun, these are the sort he uses the least, because they’re the last stable level he can manifest before he starts losing control, these are still technically yellow but are very nearly white– almost too bright to look at. These constructs are near impossible to destroy, but this level of construct is also very nearly impossible for him to reach with the equipment he has.
Anything above that has no discernible color because it’s too bright to actually withstand the sight of even with his quirk’s modified eye sight. The heat is also an unbearable 6,000 degrees Fahrenheit (3315 C), this level of sound is also completely damaging to him, and is impossible to make stable for constructs. If exposed to for too long he’ll simply die from the heat, the light, and the energy output required to convert the soundwaves.
Also, fun fact, sound measurements are stupid. Every increment of 10 in Decibels is not 10 units more powerful, it is 10 times more powerful.
so 60 is normal speaking, 70 is 10 times louder than that. 80 is 100 times stronger than sixty, 90 is 1,000 times stronger than sixty, 100 is 10,000 times stronger than sixty, and so on.
