Molly Hawkins, Harry‘s creative director, talking about what it‘s like to work with him - 12/06
Sure, let's talk about empathy and all, except when someone gives you respectful/constructive feedback, saying you should check the effects on Harry's face on the big screens because they were too much and not inclusive at all, especially for people with certain types of disabilities. Let's talk about empathy while ignoring the fact that the excess of graphic effects was preventing people from the back from properly seeing the show, which ended up invalidating the main reason for you to have huge screens by the sides of the stage in the first place. Let's talk about empathy when your whole project did not include the separated area for disabled people by the front of the stage. But when that happens, try not to block the very same people just because you feel like no one can say a thing about your “empathetic work". 🙃
