Olivia locked her phone, turning the screen black and now giving him her full attention. “You sound like you have this problem a lot,” she couldn’t help but chuckle lightly. “Maybe you should be better about who you give your number to.”

ut her phone back in her bag. “Not so tech savvy, are we?” She teased. “Not that I can say much, considering my phone was a prop on the first Wall Street movie set.” The brunette repeated, eyebrows furrowing as she tried to recall exactly what he’d called it. “Which it’s not, thank you very much. Just doesn’t have a touch screen, or apps. Which means it’s good for exactly what it’s supposed to do: call and text. Not play Angry Fruit or Bird Ninja or whatever new game’s out there for point two seconds.”

‘’I receive my mails from work directly on it – and get things done from a distance. Those are incredibly valuable objects—‘’ Harrison said as he grabbed his phone back with a smirk. ‘’Who has time to play games anyway?’’

Emily had wandered into the room to catch the end of the curly haired lad’s phone call, her steps faltering for a moment as she considered leaving him in peace but decided against it soon after. “Everything okay, love?” She question while moving towards him, letting her blue gaze watch him softly with only a hint of curiosity glinting behind them.

Harrison focused his attention on his gorgeous blonde friend as she stepped into the room. Was she around since a long time? He wasn’t sure. ‘’I’m feeling peachy – everything’s fine.’’ Is face said the opposite but that was another story. Harry unconsciously bite the side of his lesser lip; something he did only when he was feeling concerned and in this case; slightly nervous. ‘’What you doing here?’’ He asked Emily as he locked an arm around her shoulders to pull her against him and kiss the side of her head.

Marisol was walking past then saw a familiar face. She stopped hearing him yelling into the phone her eyes widening a bit . “Umm are you okay? Sorry to just jump into your conversation like that.”

‘’— Don’t be sorry it was just… an old friend.’’ If that’s how you call the mother of your child. ‘’I thought I was alone; from where did you just arrived?’’ Harrison asked her with a forced smile.

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, not sure as to what he was referring to, until she remembered the phone in her hand. Huffing out a laugh, she handed it over for him to examine, shrugging her shoulders as if to say what can I say? “Not everyone can afford iPhone’s, contrary to popular belief.” Scarlet teased, handing him back his phone and taking hers back, as well. She paused at the next question, realizing it to be a joke by the wink thrown her way, and smiled nervously. “If I went to clubs and gave my phone number to random strangers? Probably.” She laughed again. The brunette sobered slightly when he gave his name–Harrison, she noted–and held out his hand for her to take. Scarlet obliged and they shook hands, her own name leaving her lips. “Scarlet. It’s nice to meet you.”

‘’The pleasure is all mine, Scarlett. Thank you for the help – I learn new things everyday with this…’’ He ran a hand over the pocket of his jacket where his phone was. ‘’You don’t need an iPhone – but it wouldn’t be a luxury to have a phone that wasn’t a prop on the first Wall Street movie’ set.’’

“That sounded like a pleasant way of saying goodbye,” Olivia commented nonchalantly from her seat where she was scrolling aimlessly through her own phone. She only glanced up from her screen for a moment, not really caring much but still finding it amusing.

Harrison looked at the brunette and grinned. She was amused while he was clearly bothered by the many phone calls flooding his voicemail. ‘’Some people never seem to understand when it’s time to leave and let go.’’ Hopefully she wasn’t one of those.

“I really hope that you’ll be right, but seriously… Who could get over Harrison Hayward, huh?” Julian grinned at his friend. “Tonight, Sway. It’s a dance show, a mix of ballet, Argentine tango, hip hop, and modern. The next good show it’s only in July with James Bay.

“Fuck, she’s a crazy stalker ?There certainly has a way to block it. When it happened to me, I changed my cell phone number. Worst idea ever.” He shook his head, remembering how it had caused problems later.” Everything fine with me, I wish you could say the same, dude.”

‘’It isn’t that bad – she’ll get over me sooner or later.’’ He slightly shook his head knowing it wasn’t half as simple as he tried to make it sound. ‘’I haven’t set a foot inside of your place in so long… who’s playing tonight?’’

She could tell that the smile was forced. Scarlet didn’t take offense to it, of course; having heard the ending of his previous conversation, it wasn’t hard to figure out the fact that the man was stressed. She just hoped she wouldn’t be adding to it by stepping in. When he offered her his phone, however, the brunette took it as a sign that he didn’t seem to mind all too much. Her smile grew a little wider. “Oh, well, I don’t blame you.” She pulled her own phone out–lacking the Apple symbol, or even a touchscreen–and waved it up a bit. “This thing doesn’t exactly come with any apps. But…” Taking the phone from him, she scrolled through the necessary settings, allowing him to see what she was doing as she blocked the number. “Luckily enough, the process of blocking is universal. You shouldn’t get any…well, anything from them from now on, and all you gotta do is hit unblock if you ever decide you want to. Easy.”

‘’Woh -- is that a phone?’’ He mocked her gently, pointing vaguely at her phone. ‘’and is it what you usually do, to solve the problem, when you give your phone number to a random strangers in clubs?’’ He smiled to himself before winking at the girl; thanking her along the way the help. The woman trying to get in touch with him was a lot more than a random hook up – but he wasn’t going to admit it. ‘’Name’s Harrison,’’ He added; extending his hand towards the brunette for proper introduction. They shook hands.

“You shouldn’t give your number to any girl, they can be so harassing sometimes.” Julian smirked, assuming that she was a girl on the phone.

‘’Trust me I didn’t give her my number – I sincerely have no idea how she got it.’’ He knew she was a capable girl but didn’t expect to have news from her for at least a decade or two. He couldn’t help the frown that was plastered to his face. ‘’What’s up, King Julian? Long time no see.’’ He was glad to see an old friend even if his face was telling the opposite.

“Probably.” They sat down in the bar. “Him, I think. He has never been to Europe before.” Tom smiled down into the bar. “And in what way should I understand this, Hayward? Did you take the innocence of a Disney Princess?”

‘’I did not – but I sincerely wanted to be inappropriate for a minute or two.’’ He winked at his friends; he knew it wasn’t that complicated for the young business man to be inappropriate. ‘’I don’t want to talk princesses with you but I’d do Belle and Jasmine in a heartbeat! How wrong does it sound?’’ He threw his head back laughing before taking a sip of whiskey.

“You sure?” Tom shook his hand. “I’m doing great. Will too. We’re going to Disneyland Paris for a week in the next few weeks to celebrate the full custody. How are things going for you and Teagan?” Tom patted his shoulder, and pointed in the bar’s direction. “It’s right over there.”

‘’She flew to Surrey with my mother two days ago – the two of them are probably enjoying themselves as we speak.’’ A smile curved the side of his lips; he couldn’t help it. The two girls shared something strong and an unconditional love for each other’s. He followed Tom towards the bar where he ordered a glass of whiskey on rocks. Two fingers. ‘’Who’s the most excited; you or him?’’ He asked him with a cheeky smile. ‘’Lemme tell you that Princess Jasmine usually looks splendid. I think I enjoyed Disney more than I should have!’’ Harrison admitted as he shook his head with a laugh.

Scarlet seemingly had a habit of just inviting herself into conversations. Funny, for someone who was so shy, but also had a love for people. Add that to her natural caring ability, and you found a girl who’d jump into a random conversation if thought to be able to help the other. So, when she walked by a handsome brunette who was telling someone on the other end of his phone to stop “blowing up his phone,” she didn’t hesitate to deter over to him in order to help. “Hi…uh, I…I couldn’t help but overhear, but…I’m pretty sure there’s a way to stop that from happening.” She gestured to the phone he’d just placed in his jacket. “Unwanted texts and phone calls, I mean.”

Harrison’s gaze fell onto the tiny brunette by his side. He was slightly annoyed by the phone call but wasn’t going to let it go to his head. He forced himself to smile at Scarlet before raising an eyebrow out of interest. ‘’I’m afraid I don’t know half of the applications that come with my phone…’’ He shamelessly admitted – not even aware that it wasn’t an application she wanted him to upload. ‘’Care to help?’’ The young business man asked as he handed her his phone.

Tom went pass Harrison who was on the phone, when he overheard the last line of the phone conversation. “Everything okay?”

‘’Could be worse—‘’ Harrison simply added with a grin; he wasn’t much of a complainer. ‘’How are you doing, mate?’’ He shook his hand politely before looking at the people surrounding them. ‘’Do you know where the bar is?’’ He was clearly annoyed and looking for a distraction.

‘’Stop blowing up my phone with texts and calls,’’ Harrison said with a serious tone as he hung up. He carelessly looked what time it was before sliding it in the inner pocket of his jacket.  What was I thinking ?
