hii idk if you're still active and this is prob a dumb question but i’m not a native english speaker and currently reading the original version of “the princess diarist” and i’ve arrived to the chapter “notes from his periphery, or the glib martyr”, my doubt is what does carrie mean with glib martyr?
i think she’s ironically referring to the russian saints but i’m not sure..😭
I think the book is stuffed in a box at my parents' house so I can't look through it to understand the context of the chapter to help you outside of just providing the definitions of each word, but i found this:
A Glib Martyr. Her diary entries often portray her as a "glib martyr," someone who is both self-aware and self-deprecating. She uses humor and irony to cope with her feelings of inadequacy and her complicated relationship with Ford. The diaries are a mix of vulnerability and wit, reflecting her complex personality. Source

Hello! I’ve been trying to find the photo of Harrison sitting at a table with lots of wine bottles or a drink or something! I use to have it save but I’ve lost it.
I believe it may of been from a photo shoot in 1977/78 in london with Carrie (I think she was in a bin in one of the pics)
I don’t suppose you have it please?

“Carrie was very funny and kept everyone entertained. She was able to boss those guys around without looking silly. That was an important part of her character, that she was the boss. And she was also shorter than everybody else, but she handled that great.” - George Lucas
