zoe took a sip of hot chocolate as harry responded. the taste of the drink warmed her up immediately, and she instantly fell into bliss. "i think the only thing that's gonna keep me warm is this hot chocolate right now," she joked before thinking about all the things she packed. "i knew i wanted to be on the slopes for at least one part of the trip, so i have this coat," she pointed at her current outfit then at the few large check-in bags she towed in, "and a few more fancy ones in there. i think it should work out fine!"
she pulled out a pamphlet from her pocket, flipping through it to find the itinerary for the week. "okay, so tonight is the welcome dinner... then tomorrow evening holiday market..." she pulled the paper towards him and showed him the schedule for the week. "okay harry, let's choose one of these things to do together! do you think since you're so good at playing football, that you'll be good at being in a rink... it's like ice sports in a way, right? another way to get active? or should we just relax in the spa?"
Harry took a sip of the hot chocolate. He liked a drink of this and where better than this place where you had these views and surroundings. He laughed. "I think you are right about that." Harry told her. "As much as I would love to give the skiing a go, its one of the things we can't really do because of injuries that could happen. My children would have loved that though if they were here."
He watched as she took out the pamphlet and then looked at it as she showed him. "Oh the rink sounds good. But then how good does that spa sound?" He smiled. "Being active or just relaxing in a spa. That is a a hard decision." Harry laughed.
That tree-lighting ceremony was pretty great. Have to say that I've never experienced anything like that before. I've seen the lights go on in Oxford Street and all that but that isn't the same. That you can see every year, this you can't. Didn't go to the afterparty though, was still so tired from the flight here and all the food I ate at that dinner. How was your first night? @harryekane9
Oh, it was. I was going to say that I have seen the lights go on in London. But like you said, this was different. Honestly, I didn't either and I didn't really have far to fly from. My first night was great though. How was yours?

one of zoe's pleasures in life was crossing places off her bucketlist. while press tours and movies had her traveling often, she never stepped foot in oslo and the ice, snow, and cold was a slick reminder of that. granted, she was coming from new york, which is a state known to get heavy snowstorms -- norway was a whole different ball game. their mountains were packed high with snow, christmas lights decorated throughout the cities, and upon arrival to the hotel: an assortment of flavors for the hot chocolate bar. zoe opted for two classic hot chocolates, with extra marshmallows on top. she walked over to the familiar face and set out the extra drink in front of him. "and here i thought i was the only one taking sight of the beautiful lobby. are you ready to experience the cold for the rest of the week?"
Coming here shouldn't have been that much of a shock to Harry. He was from the UK where it got cold, and he lived in Germany where there was probably more sure than the UK would usually get. But even this was colder than he had expected. Thankfully he had come prepared with what to wear.
Harry was looking at the view when he noticed the drink in front of him before looking up to see who it was that had placed it there. "Oh, I am sure we aren't the only ones." He told her. "Thank you." He said, nodding towards the drink. "I think I am ready. It is colder than I thought but I have packed stuff to keep me warm." He laughed. "Are you?"
I've taken about three strolls through the hot cocoa bar this afternoon - the staff is starting to give me odd looks. Gorgeous hotel, isn't it? I have to wonder why it's called The Thief. Sounds ominous. @harryekane9
I mean, who can blame you. I don't. It is a lovely hotel. And that is coming from someone who spent a few months living out of a hotel suite a few years ago. When it comes to the name, I agree. I did wonder that when I heard the name of it. Still none the wiser.
dua has a type.. mentioned alongside harry kane recently, linked with mason mount in the past.. if callum really wants a shot, maybe needs to change profession
ahh, yes, yes: our lovely sports men, mmhm, all very cute, all very shiny. but, but ! let's not pretend that our, uh, our dear tantalizing turner needs to swap out scripts for shin guards to stand a chance. must i say, there's a reason the, ahh, the previous contenders didn't quite make it to the endgame, yes ?

we all know google neeeever lies so it's basically law. you're doing a good service there. fully here for you throwing up a middle finger to people saying that so you go off and do what you do for a long ass time.
Exactly. Haha. Yes, I am fully doing that, without physically throwing up the middle finger. Last year I was taking part in a tournament and was kind of injured but I wanted to be part of it. I had comments said about how I'd had it. Now...I've kept them quiet.
they didn't ask. they came over to us and said "we need to talk to olivia." i guess i should've asked what for, but i assumed it was a passport issue or something like that. yeah, this is my one and only time. hoping it stays that way.
I guess I would have done the same if they came over to me and said it in that way to me. I wouldn't question them because like you say, you would think it was a passport issue.
still playing??? that's kind of wild but also impressive as hell. let 'em keep that crown then. aim for the 40s. that's still impressive in its own right.
Yeah. At least that is what google is telling me. I think I will let them keep that crown. I have already said in some interviews that I want to play for as long as I can. And prove people wrong who say I am past it now.

anon says... β my favourite thing about harry kane is how warm and inviting he is. β | @harryekane9
Then we are off to an excellent start! I see, I see - you have to keep some zen about you, sure. Have you considered yoga in your downtime? Or, maybe in a more extreme case, a megaphone and some curse words? Oh, brilliant! Be sure to hit all the tourist destinations for proof, naturally. Tell Big Ben I said hello.
We do seem to be. You really do have to when playing. I haven't really done yoga in my downtime. I have done it when I am at camp with England. Not so much recently with the new manager. I didn't have the time to go to any places like that. And I know I won't before heading back either.
Right, you live in Germany now, don't you? I bet they go all out with Christmas. I mean, we have our fair share of Christmas markets in England but the ones in Germany always seem so much bigger. Maybe not as big as Winter Wonderland in London but still. If you happen to go to one, let me know what it's like because then I might come check it out for myself.
I do. I live in Munich. Oh, you would be right about them going all out. They are bigger than in the UK. I am sure of that. If I go to one, I will let you know. But I think you know that it would be great anyway.
That's alright, I suppose. What's meant to be will be, or whatever they say. Gotta keep on your toes here, bub. I don't forget anything. Brilliant, so - a leader in your own right. What's been the hardest part of being big bossman? Best of luck to you! Knock 'em dead, break a leg, and all the other well wishes. I'll pass you along my list of top movies to watch on a flight between now and then.
You are keeping me on my toes. Yeah, I am a leader in my own right. The hardest part, I would have to say is trying to keep things calm on the pitch when some try and pick a fight or something during a game and I am trying to make sure it doesn't get anyone sent of...in our team anyway. Thank you. Actually back in London right now for a game tomorrow.
That's no way to keep the hope alive, now, is it? Sure, a triple threat: an author, a manager, and a friend. It sounds interesting, in any case. Do you consider yourself a good leader, or do you prefer to fall in line? I like to think myself the former, but I fear I err on the side of 'bossy' sometimes. Lovely! When are you meant to play again?
I can't say I know anyone that tall. But there could be someone out there. Oh, I was like, there is only two things I mentioned, but yeah, adding author to that. I should hope I am considering I am captain of the national team. I wouldn't say I am bossy. When it comes to club games, I am playing tomorrow. For England, it will be probably March next year.
they could've just asked for my full name and how to spell it when i walked into the room. had me stressing over nothing. i pray it doesn't happen to anyone else. it's awful. have you ever had any run ins with the law before?
They should have done that. But then they could have just assumed you gave them the wrong one. Unless you had the proof on you. I haven't had any run ins with the law, and I want it to stay that way.
do you find that you end up doing work-related things - or even just thinking about them - when you're technically off-duty? i try to be good about having hobbies that have nothing to do with my job just to get a bit of separation in but i do tend to gravitate toward things that are related, somehow. how old are your little ones?
I guess I do because I am keeping feet, for example, when I am on holiday ready to get back into training and playing. Ivy is 8, Vivienne is 7, Louis is almost 5 and Henry is 2.
Am I imagining it or is Dua Lipa flirting with Harry?
oh gee, oh golly, oh my. now this, yes, this is the deliciousness i love for, mmhm, the scandal. i'm terribly, terribly curious, you know... what is going on between dua and harry, ohh, what is happening there? very tantalizing, very intriguing. and then there's callum, and that little... that little triangle, forming ever so delicately, shaping itself like some chaotic geometry of human emotion. things wiiiiill get messy. very curious, oh yes. very, very curious indeed.
