I stumbled upon one of your edits and my brain nearly short circuited as a hockey fan and nick fuentes observer lmao.
I gotta askโฆ why? why are you doing this lol? how did this blog come to be? please tell me all the details because I am very intrigued.
i (๐) am very interested in carter hart behind the scenes with a few of my friends (again, shoutout j) and we just needed an outlet.
then comes ๐บ๐ธ coming to me about liking a "problematic" guy who i'd never heard of before. turns out he's relatively entertaining in a different way to carter. he streams and embraces his present while carter is trying to ditch his past (no one is letting him do allat).
so, people basically let nick be and insult him for doing what he's doing, but people insult carter, basically, for what he's not doing (owning up/being in jail/not being in the nhl) and i already found that amusing when it came down to us having weird interests. they are both technically opposites.
the ship started with this image which i first sent ๐บ๐ธ after i knew they were a nickstorian (i know all of these silly images are very out of character, but when would this even happen, anyway?) and it kind of snowballed from there.
even though not obvious, apart from the fanfic posts, our posts explore different dynamics of their relationship and how it'd work out. how does a chronically online racist homophobe etc, and a borderline rapist find a partner? especially another gay guy? realistically, there's a guy out there for everyone, but here, they're the only two for each other.
we imagine they kind of just put up with each other. especially carter with nick. besides the obvious, carter makes an effort to have a good public image, but his boyfriend is the direct opposite of that.
...but they do have their moments of softness and getting along. even if they're such weirdos and lowkenuinely hate each other.
