Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility BGE Reloaded V1

Hello Everyone! It has been such a long time, and I am VERY happy to release the new version of ToT:BGE!

To start off, nothing too big has changed with the mod and its features for the end user (You!). I still have not been able to do script editing, although I understand the script files a bit more! I have discovered that the PAL (European) version of the game is much more modifiable than the North American version, so for my sanity, I have rebased the mod to the PAL version of the game, and I remade the entire graphics patch from scratch. The PAL version of the game, alongside English, also contains German, French, Italian, and Spanish, and while I have done no work to the scripts, the model swap and texture pack will work with these languages! The mod is also no longer over 1 Gigabyte and is much smaller, which was a top priority for me. Now lets get started!

Download MultiPatch if you use Mac, Xdelta UI if you use Windows, or don't download any program and use this web tool.

Open up your patching program and select the .xdelta file as the patch and the European Tree of Tranquility .iso as the source file

Start the patching process. The program might not respond for a few seconds, not minutes like last release.

Q: Can I use my North American copy?

A: No. This patch will only work for PAL copies of the game.

Q: I get a error when I patch, what happened?

A: The patch only works with a rom that is a in a ISO format. If originally RSV, you can have Dolphin Emulator convert. If WFBS or NKIT, It has to be restored with Nkit 1.4 with recovery files/Wii partitions. I cannot tell you where to get this.

The title screen will no longer say the line “Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility” It happened when I swapped the voice files, I know what happened now, but I will have to learn how to edit the sound files to fix it.

It's been a very long time and I have something exciting upcoming! It's nothing too big on the player side, but it should make things on my end much easier and will make future updates more fun for me to do, rather than tedious. ToT BGE 1.2 Reuploaded!

Hello Everyone! The 1.2 (Third) release of Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility BGE has now been reuploaded!

Tutorial:

1. Download the version of the patch that is for your respected copy of ToT.

2. Download MultiPatch if you use Mac or Xdelta UI if you use Windows 

3. Open up your patching program and select the .xdelta file as the patch and your Tree of Tranquility .ISO as the source file after backing up the un-modded .ISO.

4. Start the patching process. The program will likely not respond for a few minutes, this is normal do not be alarmed.

5. You're finished! Enjoy the patch!

(Optional, Only for Emulation) Install UI Swap Texture Pack

1. Download the texture pack and unzip to "Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures\R84EE9".

2. Make sure you have “Load Custom Textures” checked in graphic options.

FAQ

Q: What version of the game do I have?

A: A way to know if you have a glitched or fixed copy is if you are on the friendship menu and you see “%fTrack. %f” The copy is glitched.

Here is an example 

Disclaimer: It is 100% okay if you have the glitched copy if you don't like Calvin, just note the game breaking bugs and avoid them.

Q: I get a error when I patch, what happened?

A: The patch only works with a pure iso, not a converted Nkit, WFBS, or any other compressed rom.

Q: Xdelta UI is crashing, whats going on?

A: It just be like that. a solution someone found was to patch the game in a certain order.

How-To:

Download  BGE Green if you use the green disk or “glitched” copy.

Download  BGE Rainbow if you use the full colored disc or “fixed” copy.

A simple solution to know if you have a glitched or fixed copy is if you are on the tracking screen and you see “%fTrack. %f” The copy is glitched.

Here is an example

(Note. It is 100% okay if you have the glitched copy, Just note the game breaking bugs and avoid them.)

Delete your 0.1 or 1.1 version .iso if you have it, it is not needed and can not be patched.

Download MultiPatch if you use mac or xdelta UI if you use windows

Run the program that you had just downloaded

Select the .xdelta patch as your patch file

Select your Tree of Tranquility .ISO as the source file (back up the original .iso before patching!)

Run the patcher (if not responding, it is normal do not panic.)

Please, if playing Angela, do not wear the samurai wig, it will crash the game, and have a *very* high pitch noise that will hurt your ears, so please be aware before you buy the hat in game!
