Hello, hello, welcome in! We are (some of) the admins for the HATO roleplay blogs! If you have any questions related to the lore and current events regarding the roleplay side of things, we are here to help!

What is HATO?

HATO (Hermits And The Olympians) is a Percy Jackson au made by the amazing @ahllohehn right here on Tumblr! It consists of Camp Hermitcraft; the Greek camp, and Camp Empires; the Roman one. And some more... we'll say secrets... that might be unlocked upon the way...

So, what's the deal with this blog?

We are here to answer any not in-character questions surrounding the au: specifically the roleplay blogs and the plots happening with them. Instead of asking Ichi (the creator), direct such questions to us instead! Goodness knows he doesn't know what's going on half the time, and we don't either :D but between all of us someone on the team should be able to help.

Hi! Mod Violet here. Out of the 50-something HATO (hermits and the olympians) RP accounts, the large majority are run by a dozen or so fans of the AU such as me.

There are a few pieces of art that are directly related to the RP accounts, but you might have to dig a little to find them.

I can't answer for the other AU's as our RP group is HATO-focused, but Ahllohen did run a couple HATO blogs (though which ones specifically is up to them to answer as I can't remember myself lol)

Oh, fun fact, RP!Gem wears five bracelets. The two on her right wrist are green and pink, her favourite colours. The three on her left wrist are red, blue, and purple. She gets the feeling that they represent people… or at least they did once upon a time. She isn't quite sure who they are or why they are important, but she keeps them on anyways. It just wouldn't feel right without them.

have you ever considered how youd feel if hato became a larger fanbase? as in theres more people doing art besides the official creator (you) themselves doing art

I don't know. I did dream of a somewhat possible future like that, even discussing it with ravle that's why he had continuously encouraged me to keep going despite a lot of health and mental hiccups.

But, the current state of things is already pretty big for me, especially when something like "Percy Jackson x Hermitcraft" is already lessening my reach for people since it's somewhat 'niche'. It's specific.

The AU is not as free and originally world built like the other AUs, which already makes it pretty hard for many to relate fully. So even having around 20 people following it is already a big thing.

It'd be nice to see a bigger community. It's every creator's dream, after all. But I'm not exactly confident it would get to that point, since I'm not exactly creative with how I show people this world. It's not exactly the first of its kind either so it's really nothing special.

I'm already pretty content with recognizing a lot of the users who are actively following me through it despite it all.
