((I had a really long day at work yesterday, and I got home and passed out on the couch. I didn’t even make it to my bed. I really meant to be on here.
And I have an audition tomorrow morning, so I have to be up in … 5 hours. So I really should sleep.

"Ah … aye, he is." He nodded, his eyes widening a little in agreement. “He’s me grandad, actually." He shrugged and set a teatray in front of her. “Passion frui’ an jasmine, white tea, an’ a blueberry scone."
She paused. “Jefferson is your…wow." She shook her head and picked up the scone. “You’re really trying to impress a girl if you give her baked goods…or maybe that’s really just only me." Shrugging, she took a bite of the scone.
"'e's goin' by Jefferson, now?" His eyebrows arched up a bit. "Wen' by a differen' name, las' I knew 'im. Though 'm guil'y o' the same thing." He chuckled softly, looking pleased at her reaction. "Jus' made a fresh batch too. Seemed a shame no' to share 'em."

He grinned brightly, shaking his head. “No, she cer’ainly doesn’." He finished with her tea, and placed a little tray in front of her with the cup, and milk and sugar. “Aye. I can understan’ wha’ tha’s like. Took me a bit o’ time to find me purpose ‘s well."
She stirred her tea, idly, watching the colour change. “Take you long, I take it?" she mused solemnly. “Sorry," she shook her head, “Don’t mean to bring things down, you seem like a delightful lad."
"Heh . . . ya could say tha'." He propped his elbows up on the counter. "Couple decades or so." He gave a soft smirk and shook his head. "No need to 'pologize, love. Though 'm glad ya think so. I cer'ainly try to be."

“‘s how mos’ people end up ‘ere." He chuckled softly. “Only the fines’ teas in Wonderland! An’ the firs’ cuppa’s always on the ‘ouse, if’n ya’d like to try some."
"Well if it’s on the house, I definitely wouldn’t say no to a cup of english breakfast—‘s my favorite." She admitted almost meekly. “So what, people just wander into Wonderland by accident, and that’s just a normal day?"
He grinned brightly, nodding and setting to work. "Excellen' choice. 's one o' me favorites." Hatter chuckled softly, shrugging a bit. "Basically. There's all sor's o' por'als an' such tha' connec' other worlds to this one. People fall through pret'y of'en. An' 'alf o' 'em end up 'ere. 's good fo' business."

He shrugged up his shoulders, looking up occasionally from fixing her tea. “Ever read Alice ‘n Wonderland? Mos’ people seem to think tha’s me. ‘s no’."
She grinned and snapped. “That’s why you seem familiar! That Hatter is in Storybrooke." She laughed. “He’s kind of a…well, he’s kinda nuts."

“‘s fine." She mumbled. “Wonderland? Jeez, I took a wrong turn or ten." A slow smile creeped onto her face. “And just what do you sell here if I might ask?"

Hatter grinned brightly, looking pleased at the prospect. He always loved to surprise his customers. “Then adventure, ya shall have." He immediately started setting to work behind his counter.
She drummed her fingers on the counter before walking around a bit. “So…any clue why you seem so familiar? You just remind me of someone, and I can’t place my finger on it. I’m usually good with faces and names."
He shrugged up his shoulders, looking up occasionally from fixing her tea. "Ever read Alice 'n Wonderland? Mos' people seem to think tha's me. 's no'."
Ever since Matt Smith announced that he would be leaving Doctor Who, we have received lots of suggestions for 12th Doctor, and one who stood out for us was Andrew-Lee Potts (Shown in picture). What do you think? Would you like to see him take on the role?

He chuckled softly, tipping his hat to her. “Pleasure to meet ya, Tink. ‘n ya can call me, Hatter. Although, me given name’s somethin’ else."
"My son started calling me Tinkerbell when we went to Neverland, and it’s kind of just stuck," she smiles.
"I’s a cute name." He smiled softly at her, leaning on his counter. “Did ya want anythin’, sweet’eart? Ya are in a tea shop, af’er all."
She looked around, thinking on it for a moment before her smile grew larger. “I’m up for an adventure. Surprise me, hun."

"Does a girl need a reason to want a decent tea?" she laughed with a small smile. She shook her head. “Life," she said simply with a shrug, “Or my endless search for one."
