Where I live, there is a strange stone that is said to be the Tomb of a Witch, and for the longest time, I thought the same thing!

Turns out, I was wrong.

Though there was a witch that lived in my area - this family was not a part of any of it. This is not a broom, it's an upside-down torch that symbolizes the passing of life. It is the most immaculate stone in my local Cemetery, though, surrounded by a large family.

I participated in another Ghost Hunt at Castle Blood last weekend, and I have to admit; I have feelings about this.

The group I went with is ... okay ... there is one or two that I don't agree with, but all in all, they aren't bad. Once again, they were harping on the "Brothel" aspect. I hate that. I also need to do some research on whether or not this was, in fact, a home for Wayward Girls. Cause I am skeptical about that. Historically, though, after a loose Google search, I did learn that I was right about the purpose of those kinds of homes. To give girls a place to go in difficult circumstances.

As far as experiences go, I did hear the name "Spew" (my old cast name) come out of a spirit box. We met a child named Paul, who was fifteen, and a soldier in the viewing room. We heard a loud bang on the floor in that room, and we all felt it through our feet. We met a shy little girl in one of the upstairs rooms, and a man and a boy in the parlor. I got some odd K2 hits, but nothing too drastic. I had a spirit use a flashlight to answer yes-no questions, but no EVPs or anything.

I'm a bit on the fence about the whole thing. I feel like there were a lot of outside sources that could have interfered with the investigation and the integrity of the group itself. I'm still skeptical of modern ghost hunting equipment, but I know that the Castle is haunted.
