Flower Crowns | Dorm Leaders
This originally started off as an idea with just Riddle (which I may post later) but I found it cute enough to want to make headcanons out of it~

Riddle Rosehearts🌹
You’d made a habit of going to Heartslabyul to claim any discarded flowers - ones that hadn’t been painted properly, white ones that had been caught out before being painted, etc (it’s free real estate)
You ended up spending a lot of your time in the Rose Maze, using the discarded roses and anything else that caught your eye for your crowns
Riddle would be walking by, see you sitting on the ground with the half-finished crown in your hands and ask what you were doing
You’d show him one of your finished products - another discarded rose one, you’d made plenty by now - and encourage him to try it on
He’d be confused but still do as you asked
As he’s putting it on, you’d explain to him what flower crowns were and that they were popular in your world
When he’s surprised how well the crown fits him, you tell him you’d been using the discarded roses to design a flower crown for him
“Cause it’s roses! A rose crown for my queen!”
Riddle turns as red as the roses
Poor boy tries to pass it off, but the stuttering just makes it worse
He thanks you for the thought and says he can’t wait to see the final product

Leona had somehow convinced you to bunk off lesson and stay with him while he slept in the botanical garden
Bored, you’d picked up some nearby flowers and started weaving them into a crown
At first you were making it for yourself, then looked over at the sleeping lion and decided it would be nice to see him wear one
You couldn’t wander off too far in fear he’d wake up and stop you from making it, so it looked a bit plainer than your usual ones
Now came the hard part - getting it on his head
You ended up having to wait for him to roll over (he was a surprisingly calm sleeper) and try not to brush his ears too hard
He still woke up
He takes one look at you and asks what you think you’re doing
You tell him it’s his fault for falling asleep
Eventually you tell him about flower crowns from your world and how it’s your hobby to make them
He takes the crown off his head and says if you can make one better than that, then you better make one worthy of a king because he’s not going to wear anything less

You’d always wondered if you could incorporate sea plants into your flower crowns, so with the help of the tweels, you finally got your hands on some!
It was a bit of an issue to preserve them above water, but you’d managed to find a way with the tweels’ help again (mainly Jade’s)
You were slightly upset when you realised you’d have to use hot glue to keep everything together but you made it as discreet as possible
The majority of the time you were making them you were in Mostro Lounge so you could ask the boys for help if you needed it
Que Azul getting interested in what you were doing
You explained to him it was a trend back at your world and how you’d decided to start making your own
He’d admire the craftsmanship and make a half-joke about how you could start a business with them
When you were finally finished with it, he’d comment on how it didn’t seem the right size for you head
Que you taking his hat and placing the crown on his head
It takes him a moment to process you saying you made it for him
Then he’s desperately trying to hide his blush
He makes a joke about how it’s unfortunate he can’t wear the crown over his hat
It backfires when you place his hat on your head and say you’ll wear it for him
Now can’t help some red showing on his cheeks, stuttering his reply
He tries his best to ignore Floyd and Jade smiling behind him as you talk about making him another
Kalim Al-Asim 🕌
At the Fairy Gala, the two of you were talking about the flower-themed clothes you were wearing and the conversation eventually led to you mentioning about flower crowns from your world
Once you told him you knew how to make them, he immediately asked you to make one for him
He asked you constantly if you needed anything, fabrics, gold, jewels
Eventually you just asked for some gold leaf to stop him barging into your dorm and ruining the surprise
You realised later the majority of the flowers from his homeland were red, so it was a good call
When it was finally finished, he was ecstatic
He ends up wearing it all the time, eventually replacing the headband with it
Word gets around Scarabia and you end up getting a bunch of requests (Kalim even gets Jamil to wear one for a bit)
When the plants start to wither, he asks you to make new ones - you’ll probably have to move on to fabric if you can’t deal with the constant requests
The sight makes you happy though, knowing Kalim and the rest of Scarabia are enjoying something from your world
And you’re even happier when Kalim presents you with a flower crown of your own

Vil learns about your hobby from seeing you walk around with a newly-made crown on your head
He’s intrigued, to say the least - it certainly would be a nice addition to his wardrobe...
He (fortunately or unfortunately, your choice) doesn’t exactly let you do your own thing when he “requests” you make him one
The two of you go through multiple designs, even consulting Crewel and checking out flower meanings
Unsurprisingly, there’s some royal-purple and dark red flowers in the designs - though also a couple crowns with white mixed in
Once you settle on three or four designs, Vil buys the most realistic-looking fabric flowers he can find
Use actual flowers? No, no, real plants would risk letting unwanted chemicals or bugs into his hair if they aren’t cleaned properly, and besides, he didn’t want to have you remake them every week
You’d be making them in Pomefiore so Vil could “judge your craftsmanship”
The day after all of them are done, you check Vil’s Magicam for the inevitable posts of his new look - and ended up seeing pictures of yourself on his story, teasing said new look
Your face wasn’t in them, but you still felt your face flaring up when you realised Vil actually felt the back of your head was good enough to put on his Magicam
It doesn’t end there - like with Scarabia, people start asking who made them and eventually you’re swarmed in requests
Amongst your struggle balancing the requests and your schoolwork, Vil calls you to Pomefiore
You can’t ask what he wants until after he’s dolled you up and placed one of the crowns you made for him on your head
“I have to credit you properly, of course,” he says as he pulls you in for a photo
Idia Shroud💀
You usually sticking to natural plants, even if the crowns did eventually wither away
However, an idea struck you as you walked into Idia’s dark room only lit up by his screens
Glowing flowers
Idia was first confused when you asked him about making them and still was when you explained what you wanted them for, but decided it would be interesting to see the finished product
You two ended up spending even more time together from you hanging around to see him work
Once he’s done with one “flower”, you add some darker blue tissue paper and glitter to the tips (once you check with him it’s safe)
The “stems” end up being lightweight metal that Ortho has to help you twist lengths of iron into the usual-looking pattern the stems fall into, welding on the “flowers” once the structure was right
It wasn’t until after you all were done did Idia noticed you’d made three
“We’re matching!” Ortho says happily
Idia can’t really say anything in reply as he’s frozen from having you so close when you place the crown on his head
All he can do is nod mutely when you ask if he likes it, hoping his face and hair aren’t bright red

“Close my eyes?” Malleus echoes
You nod, hands hidden behind your back
He somewhat remembers Silver doing things like this when he was an infant, so he plays along
A second passes before he hears you say, “...actually, can you lift me up?”
You try not to blush in embarrassment at Malleus’ smile
“Alright.” is all he says as he carefully lifts you up by the waist
He feels you mess around with his hair and horns, then realises you’ve left something on his head as your hands move away
“Done!”
He opens his eyes to see you smiling at whatever you left on his head, then drop your gaze to his
He lets you down after a moment, going to touch whatever you left until you tell him not to
You take out your phone then pull up the camera app then give him your phone to look at himself
He’s impressed by the craftsmanship, asking you what exactly it is you’ve given him
You explain flower crowns to him and how you’d been wanting to make him one for a while
It was why you’d asked what his favourite flowers were (briar roses) and if you could touch his horns - since there was the extra leverage, you wanted to take advantage of it the best you could and made the crown more complex
He chuckles fondly at your enthusiasm, thanking you for the present (inwardly he’s melting from receiving a thought-out gift from you)
He’ll be a bit absent-minded for the next few times you meet, wondering what he could get for you in return
